back to the original thread..

back to the original thread..

it really does not matter how long (i mean how much) one's (unit) wager is... as long as one is practicing safe wagering..

good luck with this weekends games..

I am learning the money management trick and I feel this way. No certain limit but these, 4-7% of bankroll on flat bets 2-5% on teasers and parlays. We all know that our game of the year may happen more than once it does for all the pay sites

I can tell where this thread is going so here's a joke,an old wrinkled woman asks a male prostitute how much,he says it's 100 an inch, she says no problem I want the back 2 inches.

Holy Chit duck tape. You want to hurt your self. Pull that stuff off you pull your dick off with it. What was your first question. You know no one here bets it's against the law. So everyone is just BS-ing alittle bit. Right. ;)

Look at the pic...

Look at the pic...

How big do you think the UNIT is?

The real question is 100 per *,tyupical max a dime. Most ever played 5 dimes. I won it, and that was the only time I ever played that much, and it was a n easy V'Tech win over Syracsue, i think 56-0!

Oh well!

I call Bullsh#t. Nobody's biggest bet is ever a winner, or it wouldn't be their biggest bet. :)

Last year between $300-$500 game, $2,000 in action a day.

This year, between $100-$250 a game.

My fiance thinks her ring is beautiful, but every time I see it all I see is my football bankroll. :(

Here's my story

Here's my story

Usually $15-$25. That's puny, but I just like having something on the games.

I'll put $50 on the superbowl. I've put $100 on some fights.

I have about a $3K bankroll that I've built from scratch playing poker and it would probably be about $4K right now if I never bet sports. I've never had the desire to increase my wager because I still don't feel confident enough in my capping (for good reason) to bet more. I'm still not convinced sports betting can be beat without putting in much more work than I have the time/desire to do. I'm a much better card player than sports bettor.

The roll is for gambling (I don't spend it on anything), and my wife doesn't care about it or know how big it is, but if I lose it all, she wouldn't like me re-upping from the bank account. Most of it is online (Paypal -- paradisepoker -- SIA), but I also have a stack of $20's at home that I only touch when playing cards. Also, I bet with a friend, not a bookie, but I've cleaned him for a while now, so the 20's don't go out to him, they come in.

I've never been broke, and I could replenish that roll in less than a month (pending spousal approval) if I so desired. The dumbest thing I could do would be to take myself out of poker action because I lost too much playing sports.

There ya go.

$10-$25-$50 straight bets. I have to like it a lot to put $50 on it.

Not often, but sometimes a $10 parlay or $25 prop.

Not really in it to make a ton of money. I just like the action. I could play $2 a game and still have as much fun. I just like it when I win.

for baseball, i bet the games exactly how i post them on my page. during saturday hoops and football, i don't usually have time to post all the games i bet because i play a lot of halfs and last minute decisions.

i never post more than a 500 bet on my page but do bet a lot of dimes during football season. i just don't want followers to get carried away in case i get killed.

my biggest bet ever was the ravens in the superbowl. i had a futures bet with wagerstreet $200 to win $2400 and the day of the game i bet 3 dimes on the ravens at wagerstreet and 3 dimes at cris and 500 on the ravens in vegas at the half. by far, my biggest bet on one game in my life. BY FAR!

my next biggest bet was kentucky -3.5 at gameday for 3500 and they won by 3

With a few exceptions what I post on my page and on the message board is the amount I wager. My largest wager ever was about $4,500. I would say the largest I would consider wagering now would be maybe $1,500, more likely $1,000. Often if I don't feel confident I'll wager down around $50 or $70. I want to get more consistent and keep it between $300 and $500.

YYZ--

YYZ--

I mean no disrespect, but why do you even care what someone wagers? Unless you have access to their bookie/off shore accts you can never be sure someone isn't BS'ing you. Do I have a reason to doubt Jack or Nick when they post 330/300 on their pages? Of course not. But I also have no proof thats what they wager, either.
I realize you've made it crystal clear that you don't wager a dime-- and yet you continue to hang out a gambling forum. I also realize Fon Du Lac ain't exactly the most happening place--I pass through there 3-4 times a year in route to my fathers house-- he lives on 30 acres of timber a 1/4 mile up the road from Whistling Straights--(ever play that course? Outstanding-- the '04 PGA championship will be played there)--- but there has got to SOMETHING more exciting than hanging out at Jacks telling everyone that opens one of your threads that you don't wager real money.

Hey, what's Bucky got this year? I smell an ass-kickn' tomarrow as pay-back for last year and no David Carr........

also yyz hangs out as Father Ryan and posts crap about beantown, 95% of that is hilarious i must say...

I have been taking a break so I haven't been here often

I do not understand if you're not betting why you'd hang out at a gambling forum
