I generally stay clear of 2-ball betting (due to the Ties Lose rule at many books) but I do have one play I like in the final round tomorrow:

Paulson +130 vs Perks @ Centrebet

Both players are in a similar position where they are endeavouring to chalk up their first win on the PGA Tour and it is hard to judge how they will handle the pressure. I think it is a fairly even matchup and in my opinion Paulson looks slightly over the odds.

There is quite some discepancy in the Books between the two leaders. Not sure why that should be. Paulson seems favoured, and he may be one ahead, but he looks like he can shoot anything from 65-85. Perks tries to give the impression of being more in control but I recall Doral and I was not convinced by his final round performance. He looked like a man that did not 'fancy it' up at the top, particularly over his putts - which is a surprise given that this is his best stat.

Famous last words I suppose but I would be more inclined to look at the Group behind for the winner ( probably Slu as I've left him alone here having backed him twice this year) ; possibly a little further back. If the course plays as tough for Rd 4 as they say it might, and the front two bottle it, we could see 6 or 7 under winning this Tourney, which brings in a shed load of players.

Should be fun watching unless your man does a Mattiace.

3rd rd
Cabrerra+110/Weir loss by 5 (ok Weir you play well when you feel bad)

72 hole addions @ cut
Singh-120/Oly loss by 1
Leonard/-105/Parny win by 2

pending 72 holes and cont
Hoch +115/Goosen 2up
Els -120/Garcia 11 down
Weir +105/Goosen 3 up
Leonard +105/Weir 7 down
Hoch -110/Dimarco 3 up
Tiger +110/Mick 1 up

Outrights Zinger gone-Langer 41st-Price 30th-Furyk 15th-Hoch 7th-Mediate 3rd.
Got 3 in hunt again this week (should have with 6 selections) hopefully won't get shut out again.Couple of these have home cookin working.

Only hit one of 4 in miss the cut (Love @ 9/4)Lost $17.75 with $25 wagers on each.

Someone should kick Kuchars but for that $hit. You had your share of bad beats on this tour Stan. There suppose to even out but they sure are taking their time. Can't understand these high paid people risking injury with bball, snowboarding ect.

Got a couple 4th rd plays both @ +105

Price over Dimarco @ 5Dimes
Dimarco played like expected past 2 days.Going with the vet with good course form.

Duval over Mick @$plays
1st wager ON Duval of year.Actually entire go against Mick.
Got to question his frame of mind after yesterday. Not a good track for him anyway and believe it is in his nature to try and win at whatever the risk. Place finish means nothing to him.Mega risks on this track on Sunday could mean mega strokes---and speaking of Kiwi's earlier, would have went on Campell vs Mick if they would have offered fair odds.

Not much wind projected today but it won't take much with these greens and pins today.Agree with Stan there will be some wild swings.Would be happy to see Mediate take his -6 and not tee off.

Final Rd scor. ave for Perks this yr is 73.14. Paulson has no ave. this yr and was ranked 167th (72.06) in 2001. Mediate has the best of the final 4 at 69.75 - Sluman 72.67. Not sure if too much can be read into this due to the nature of the course/tournament. I took a little on Toms in-running yesterday at 14/1 to cover Tiger so this looks like my best hope. In saying that there are so many variables to todays proceedings that I wouldn't like to predict anything.

Final update:

Tway/Faldo WON by 3

Hoch 4th

Geez! What an event! Profitable event, but what could have been had Hoch not suffered from 3-putt-itis  Three 3-putts in the final five holes ended his interest and while he wouldn't have won - he took SEVEN more putts than Perks over the last three holes - at least the place win would not have been share with so many others. What a week! :nooo:

PGA Tour ytd
Matchups: 29-37; -19.68 units
Outrights: 5-27; -12.39 units

All Tours ytd

 Wierd week.Singh misses cut and fellow ranks over 200 in the world wins 1st pga event.Stan you are correct on Hoch dagnabit.Along with the 3 jabs he missed 5 birds from inside 10 ft that I saw also.Uncharacteristic of veteren.
Would have liked to had greens like this all week and fortunate to escape I guess. My little bud Weir phucked me 3 ways to sundown beating 2 go against and going 6 over on back to lose to the only play on him to Goose by 1.Despite 3 losses dealt by one player there is nothing I hate worse than losing a match @ -120 and lost both.%$^&%$

By the way Anders, don't count Perks win yet I heard there is an official protest for whereing that thing around his neck to keep ball out of water,or was the Cambell:)

Headed to bama for a little golfin in morning.Be back Friday. You mates hold the fort down and GOOD LUCK.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++OOPS Had outrights wrong. corrected now

i think if you (or I!) back Hoch, then do not expect him to get those putts..the putt he got on the 12th to go -6 looked liked it surprised him, he took ball out of hole and then looked round while he was walking away, probably to check he had got the putt..I think he puts a brave face on what must be inner turmoil..
So that is two Scotts who you do not want to have to rely on to finish things off..they will both jump up and bite us all though, just when we lose faith!
