I just got word today I was low bidder on a government project with 3,400 LF of iron fence . Take down
over 3K ft of existing fence, install a concrete mow strip around the entire new fence, four cantilever slide gates, 22 single gates, and gate operators and equipment on 4 gates.

My bid was 325K


I will have to get a secret clearance for myself and my workers. It is a royal pain in the ass to go through
that process. But I have done it before.

My nephew works in the FBI , so maybe I will name drop that one. haha

I also have a bid in to Fort ........... I wont say the name, but it is also thousands of ft of fence work, and 2-3 of the General Contractors told me they used my numbers for their quotes.

took me 4 weekends 2-3 hours at a time, for my wife and I to get this done.
This is where I get my physical workouts.

Kinda of a challenge working with wood as I never have done anything but welding steel for everything.

Stone stairs, wood posts and limbs for the handrails. I got all the posts and wood from a 50 ft tree I cut down.
Well I actually pulled it down with my F-250 after I got started cutting.

Still not finished. Going to have vines, flowers, and some other stuff soon.

The red fox mama is around now and appears to be looking to have her kits on my back area. There is too much rabies and such going on with fox in georgia right now. I blocked the large water pipe where she had them last year. I dont believe in killing things anymore but we can shoot anywhere around here and no one says squat. My dogs are going nuts with that fox around.
