Where it is real F ing COLD
We've never had a lockdown, so let's get that out of the way. We've never even had a modified lockdown.

So, to say lockdowns don't work, is as disingenuous as saying they do work. We dont know 100%.

If you stay in your house, and dont get Covid, "lockdowns work". If you haven't changed one thing in your life, and didn't get Covid, "lockdowns kill people".

Some of you are talking about common sense. My version is, the less people I encounter, the better my odds of staying safe.

This 1000%

People don't have common sense. People won't do their part. We can't even get people to wear a mask in public. Too many people either think it isn't a thing or are getting their information from sources that actually tell them it is more dangerous to not eat out in a restaurant than the virus.

Nobody wants to wear a mask, but if we all do, it can help limit the spread. Unfortunately, a lot of people view this inconvenience as suppression.

Exactly

Where it is real F ing COLD
My friend who was 37 years old just died from this shit, people who have me on FB can verify this info as we had a go fund me page for his family cause he became unresponsive in Mexico. I blame him and his politics. He had all the symptoms, family begged him to go get checked before going to Mexico But he said once he gets some ?sunshine? he will be better. Sound familiar?

My problem is that we have a lack of education and lack of unity regarding this disease and now we have people who trust the opinions of politicians over primary care. I know many people who have told me I don?t know what I?m talking about from mechanics to bakers, they believe whatever they hear and FB memes. Im not an expert but I know quite a bit on coding and billing it. I know that not many people die from this but many people do get hospitalized and an outbreak impacts a communities health care system. I?ll admit the health care industry made some mistakes early and along the way but have come a long way.

Now back to my Buddy, why in the fuck would he get on a plane to Mexico? How many people did he put at risk? Im sorry but if you are feeling sick you should get checked!!! RIP my friend but I?m pist at you too. There are many people out there spreading the disease because they figure 99.9% of the people survive it, plain and simple, we have lost a sense of decency over money. The political people who people trust for medical advice has screwed this country over by not doing enough for people and local businesses.

terrible news - sorry for your loss bp

don't disagree with anything you are saying - think it's crazy that anyone would trust politicians or the media at this point, which is a scary thing because so many people do

I agree with that.

I missed a very key point when it comes to education or how people feel. My buddy lived in vacation land his family mainly him ran the most popular bar/restraunt in this small vacation land. This are gets tons of traffic from Illinois, Minnesota and Southern WI. Look up Wascott WI, it?s a real unknown treasure by many.. but anyways he was well known and o have done a lot of ice fishing and many of the guys believe he didn?t die from covid but that he died from Pneumonia which is partly true but they don?t realize that the pneumonia is covid related pneumonia which is much more severe than other pneumonia

You could listen to Fauci and the CDC and the media outlets that are promoting their guidance. I wouldn't be trusting any media outlets that post graphs showing that the virus is less deadly than a lockdown.

Bleedingpurple: Thanks for sharing. Sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. It's too bad we have so many selfish and irresponsible people in this country. Hopefully, he didn't infect anyone else and if he did, I hope they survive.

funny, that graph was sent to me by my brother in law who is a liberal neurosurgeon

which media outlets report the news now? none really, basically all a bunch of right or left driven crap, so I don't really pay much attention to any of them
