:mj07: did he even try to get out of that arm triangle? I think Kimbo could take him.

one thing`s for should.....i don`t know if this show was put together and edited before dana`s much publicized prblems with jackson or not....but it very much mirrors hbo`s mayweather/marquez 24-7 show...

by that, i mean that there`s an obvious agenda...based on what i`m seeing, how can you not agree that rampage is a joke of a coach/person/human being?....uncaring,stupid,tardy,feckless.........he`s being depicted as a buffoon...while evans is depicted as the cerebral, caring, good guy....

not saying that there`s not some truth in the way these guys are depicted....just saying that anybody that is aware of how media is used to manipulate opinion, realizes that there is an agenda at play in the way the two coaches are being represented....

further enforces my opinion that dana is a sleazy, greasy piece of work...

U ever notice a lot of times they have Dana commenting in some room instead of actually doing interviews like all the other Tuff's? Kinda like adding shit after the show had already been sent for release. The hatchet job of Rampage is in full blown mode and as u can see by most comments in here, the guys are buying it hook line and sinker. What Rampage did wasn't cool but the UFC will easily survive and guys in here need to get on with their lives and get over it. Almost like Dana has some kind of cult following. Correct me if im wrong but i heard Rampage and Kimbo both say shit but fuck is beeped out. Have things changed or are people allowed to say "shit" on NTV?

Hard to feel bad for Rampage......he deserves what he gets. When you make a move like Rampage did, you pay the price. I mean shit, what did he expect would happen.

Rampage is paying the price, only one to blame is himself. He may have some valid points, but he's the one that looks like an idiot.

Kick, why don't you just admit Dana is playing u and making u look silly and we can move on. This guy acts like a child when he doesn't get his way and this can't be denied. He is as sleazy as Weasel said he was. Yes, Rampage looks like and idiot. Its amazing what an sleazy character could do to others with a pair of scissors and some film. He really needs to grow up.

i`m re-thinking the above quoted post...looks like i was way wrong.....seems that rampage has real mental issues and enjoys bullying less experienced guys while rashad seems to demostrate time and again that he actualliy is a stand-up guy that takes time to help and mentor his (and rampage`s) charges.....

i was always told to try and do the right thing when no one is looking....so,maybe it`s the camera that has rashad on his best behavior.....but,somehow,i doubt it....

the guy seems to have character..

Poor guy. Rampage could drive a guy nuts. Finally got my girl watching MMA consistently thanks to believe it or not Kimbo's personality. She kept asking me "what is wrong with this Rampage guy and his fascination with titties". Say what u want but that picture was funny. Poor tity is gonna go postal one of these days.

--------------------------------------------

As every episode goes by, Rampage looks more and more like an idiot for taking that movie role. All that trash talk and he can't back it up :nono:

Man that would have been a great fight......why Rampage....why why why:box2: :box2:

That was one of the worst fights I have ever seen.....Both guys were pathetically under-skilled in there....I've seen better bar fights....Kimbo would have won if he faced either of those knuckleheads....

i think i enjoyed that episode about as much as any i`ve seen....

i was surprised that the football player handled the experienced ufc fighter..

not surprised that guys that size(and carrying that extra poundage) can`t sustain that kind of pace...

i think if the football dude can lose about 10 pounds and work a little harder on his cardio(some guys just don`t have good cardio physiologically,imo)....and work on setting down on his punches,he can be a decent fighter....he has an excellent chin and is crazier than a sack of weasels(lol).......

and they don`t make doors like they used to,aparently...:142smilie

The one thing that is really standing out to me is the size difference between Evans and Page. I've said it before but I know it will never happen but Evans needs to drop down a weight class.

Damnitt, Page why did you do the movie. This fight would get some biggggg numbers with all of the hate and talking these guys have been doing.

I hate when these coaches get on here with this whole "team" mentality. Utter bullshit. If I were on the show, I'd be honest. I'd say "Man I want you to win your fight, I'll root for yah when you're righting, but I'm not here for the team to win."

Why in the world would or should they care about their team success? So they can get caught up in the ratings, hype, etc...and forget why they're there? For the opportunity of a lifetime. Fuck the team, MMA isn't about team success.

Bucs, what's the difference between Evans saying team and someone like Greg Jackson, ATT or any of the others talking about being a team. A lot of guys won't fight each other because of it. I don't think it's just a show thing, I think it's just the way it is when you train with each other and also when you help your guys prepare for a big fight. I'm sure most of the guys feel vested in the fights that they help others train for thus making it a team atmosphere.

Of course, this is just my opinion.

I'm talking about on the show. I didn't mean outside of the show. I can see where that was very misleading by me, sorry.

I can agree not fighting with guys you're on an official team with. However, these guys on the show hardly know each other, and for the most part not a ton of them all like each other anyways. The coaches try to push this "team" crap too much. Sure you want your team to win that aspect of the show, but as far as the end goal, it's every many for himself. I know if I was given the opportunity I'm taking every chance to improve MYSELF. You think Rashad and Dana or these other coaches care about EVERY fighter outside of the show?

I can't stand Mitrione but man he was taking shots right on the chin and not blinking. They weren't hug bombs but they were square on the chin and made me laugh.

I also laughed at how gassed they both got. It loooked like two absolutely drunk off their asses guys trying to swing at each other. It felt like a bad dream when someone is attacking you and you can't swing fast or hard for some reason.
