2 reasons...patricia jarman and adelaide byrd...these women have no business anywhere near a boxing/mma ring...
not only are they inept,but,imo,they`re biased...i wish i could remember off the cuff all the times these two dunderheads rendered decisions that had everyone shaking their heads...consistently inconsistent...
but,by no means are they unique...bad mma decisions are the rule,not the exception...

Starting the damn show late is annoying as hell - had to find a recap - made it to the point where they said they had a decision

Roy Nelson vs. Justin Wren (quarterfinal)
Round 1: Wren starts off the fight throwing several combinations at Nelson until Nelson pushes Wren against the fence. They are pulled off the fence, and again, Wren is the aggressor. Nelson finally wakes up in the final two minutes of the round, landing a few punches when Wren lets his hands drop. Nelson finishes the round by running away from Wren's punches. Cagewriter gives the first round to Wren.
Between rounds, Rampage says to Zak Jensen, who is admiring Octagon Girl Arianny Celeste, "Why are you looking at my girlfriend like that? Ha ... She wishes!" Of course she does, Rampage.
Round 2: Wren starts the round throwing punches and kicks, but Nelson doesn't appear to be fazed. The two get into a clinch, where Nelson uses the upper cut. They break up and Nelson lands a hook and a jab and a jab and a jab and a jab. After that, a jab. Nelson really comes alive as the round reaches its final minute, whereas Justin is gassed.
The fight is over after two rounds, which doesn't seem to make sense as Justin seemed to win round one, and Nelson seems to have won round two. Unfortunately, the judges don't agree with me as they score it 20-18, 19-19, 20-18 for Roy Nelson. White says, "The day we see Roy Nelson in a fight that is exciting that he made exciting, I will give him his props."
A viewer's note: Spike TV has been starting the show late and ending it late, thus ending it outside of its recording window. This is beyond annoying. I realize that they don't want us to use DVRs, but guess what? The world uses them. This is the sort of stuff that makes me stop watching a television show. Please stop being annoying, Spike.

The only thing I see similar in Roy and Chuck is the gut. Both have more of one than they should.
November 18th Episode
1) That volleyball game had about 7 or 8 illegal hits, Dana wasn't exactly enforcing the rules:142smilie
2) Why the hell is there an octagon girl on every episode? Ummmmmm, I think the crowd of 50 knows what round it is:142smilie
3) Kimbo does not like ice.
4) And as per every season, we have a guy who wants to quit. I can think of only one season where nobody wanted to quit.

looked from here like dana didn`t want the fat little lay and pray wrestler to advance last night....
when was the last time we saw a fighter warned 5+ times without a point deduction?....
i really dislike dana and his bullshit, tough guy speeches....i`d love to see him in the ring with one of these guys....

How about Rampage after the volleyball game?? Something like, "Would you rather get $1500 or see me knock Rashad out?" :mj07: Don't guess we'll get to see that although I'd love to see him knock out Rashad as well.

IMO, I'd love to see Marcus Jones vs Brendan Shaub in the finals...would be a nice matchup.
I was so happy to see that lame Madsen lose. His first fight was a joke. All he did was fake, shoot for a takedown, and these heavyweights who have good hands just seem to let him take them down and then lay on them. God I wanted him to lose so bad.

I'm not an intimidated guy, so I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish. I'm sure Madsen wants to randomly fight someone he doesn't even know?
Finally, I'm a fan, I can call it like I see it. Just like anyone else on here or in the world can.
What I was saying was that he shows heart and a set of nuts everytime he gets in the cage. I find it comical for a person who isn't at his fighting level to come out and say this, even though it's behind a computer. By the way our hometown has 300 people in it, so I know Jon really well and he would have no problem fighting someone he doesn't even know.:mj06:

just cause a guy fights on TUF doesn't mean he is at some sort of "level"
plenty of great fighters not on television shows.....some awful fighters have been on TUF and the Contender.....being on TV doesn't put you at a different "level"

his fighting level? you call wrestling fighting? its all he has...
i'm a fan of the sport, have been for over 10 years, me questioning a guys skill level or what i think of him is valid. everyone else in the world does it, live with it...
also, i get tired of that heart and nuts line. of course fighters who steps in the cage is tough for doing so, but just because you don't fight in a cage that doesn't mean you're not. also, ive seen alot of sackless fighters in my time, not everyone stepping into a cage is some tough guy..

i wrestled, so i can tangle with him there a little bit. other than my fighting weight would probably be at 185, and im 6-4 LOL :mj07:

Mitrione landed some big shots on McSweeney, but ended up tapping to a choke that was lucky to be 1/2 in.

i havent watched all the tuffs but this has to rank up there with the least amount of talent they could have possible assembled. Guys on their back getting knocked out. Guys getting choked out without any attempt at an escape. Oh and the cardio was just lovely this year. :mj07:
