Will play a 4th rd hedge
Singh -120 over Price (1/2 stroke) @ WSEX
Got a couple positions on place outrights on Price and this will cover them in case he spits the bit last rd.

Tatan I saw that date when I posted wager and figured out what was up,it just seemed odd their only wager available during U.S. Open was on British Open:eek:

Myron I don't know how many shares you have but if in your shoes I would sell one share anyway just to insure some winnings which you justly deserve for your asute selection.
For the record I think he will be very tough to catch with excellent 4th rd record. Also the tougher they make this today the better his chances as he is very smart player and VERY consistant.

Sports student You might have to drop the "student" tag with those selections. nice job:cool:
P.S. I got a little Goose @ +115 @ $plays
You might want to open account there. They threw up so doozy's yesterday. Should have stuck to all -105 or less as only loser was Tripp @ -115

adding a couple @ SIA (ties lose)
Tanaka -120 over Stiles
Janzen -110 over Kaye

Tanaka has some open experience placing 37th last year and has been a making cut machine of late. Will take experience in this final rd.

Janzen another with great open experience. Was chosen as outright as the nearer the winning score to par the better he competes, course not been receptive to that idea but maybe 4th rd will toughen up a bit.

Campbell over Byrd

Two young studs going after it. I'm staying with my man Campbell. 70, 70, 69 very consistant. Byrd was good yesterday but he did mess up just a tad. That's the edge I need, One Turn of the Ball

DTB I may take your advice on adding moneyplays to my portfolio. Can you or anybody else who knows give me a little info about them. Did not get to their site while the golf lines were up today. How big of a spread is there in their round lines? Do they let you parlay? Do they carry any of the other tours day to day? Thanks.

kind of interesting, I saw Kenny Perry a grand total of one time the whole tourney on TV, and he finished third. The only time I saw him was putting on the 18th today. Nice final round made him another big payday. What a run he's on! Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. I suggest that he place about 50 tons of dynamite on the back nine of his Country Creek golf course, set it off, then start over. That's the only thing that will help it.

Best score under 275 1/2 win

Outrights
Weir tied 3rd
Price tied 5th
Els tied 5th
Janzen 55
will wait for Stans tally on units to update as I have no clue with
5way tie for 5th

Outrights week +12.2 ytd +33.8

Matches
week 11-8 Plus 2.15 units
ytd 164-105 units +52.46 units

Course fortunately had some teeth today and let some quality players make up ground.
Lost some money on ole Kenny but was tickled to see a 3rd from him.Really didn't think he'd handle these greens.
Ole Tiger come thru and in majors plus the tour championship after today he will be 1-16 on par 70's with only win at the lenthy Bethpage layout last year. A good reason why he has systematically ommitted these par 70 non major tracks from his schedule, with the exception of his home turf course at the Nissan---and he is 0-8 there.

Sports Student $plays has only pga and no parlays. They go in spurts with lines but do throw in some clinkers. Will add while I have always been paid they are slow pay for most part. I try to never let much over $500 in there. Good place to have small reserve and pick at their soft lines they put up on occasion.

4th round update: 1-0-0; +1.00 units

Price/Campbell WON by 1

Final update:

Matchups/props: 7-2-0; +6.24 units

Estes/Scott LOST by 3
Funk/Beem WON by 7
Funk/Sabbatini WON by 5
Faldo/Sabbatini LOST by 2
Fasth/Sabbatini WON by 5
Roberts/Duval WON by 9
Duval WON (133rd)
Olazabal WON (69th
Scott WON (69th)

18-holes: 4-5-1; +1.55 units

Outrights: 1-5; -2.60 units

Singh 20th
Harrington 10th
Price 5th
Leonard 11th
Faldo mc
Goosen 11th

So nearly a huge event! Good return on the matchups, cut props and 18-hole plays and almost a huge return on the outrights. Singh had been the co-leader midway through the 3rd round, but was simply awful thereafter. Leonard always looked like he would sneak a place win in the Top U.S. category and Price always looked like securing a 16/1 top-5 win until he bogeyed the last two holes and had to settle for a five-way share of 5th place. That cost almost 14 units for a virtual repeat of Hanson earlier today. What a frustrating game!

PGA Tour ytd
Matchups: 92-52; +32.19 units
18-holes: 82-81; -18.64 units
Outrights: 20-59; +49.22 units

All Tours ytd
Matchups: 202-151; +29.15 units
18-holes: 154-138; +2.62 unts
Outrights: 47-181; -7.78 units

I got a question on Price outright payoffs
Why did 5 dimes return a net $56 top 5 for 14/1 on $20 wager
--and Skybet return net $136 for top 6 at $20 @ 12/1:confused:

10/06/2003 O/10101267/0000052
Single $20.00 US Open Place Only Betting
Price Nick @ 12/1 $156.00

-- and another note on Boyles which will be a kudos as I expected
probs on Mick/Perry match with Toms listed as choice, which would have given them much more excuse than the nit picking ordeal of Gamebookers and Quig few weeks back to cancel wager, but they did not and paid full parlay odds.

Didn't I give you a Chubby?

Didn't I give you a Chubby?

I had a nice US Open. Hit all my plays except for the push on Sunday. Chad and Byrd both played like crap but who didn't. Jim to win was a nice hit for me.
