I was actually leaning Struve by sub
he has bulked up and might be able to squirm it to the ground
I also think he is faster than Buentello
maybe I am giving Paul no respect

Anyone know Belcher/Gouveia is at catchweight?

Really like Penn and definitely betting Belcher at even money. I thought this was going to be at 185 but Belcher is a lot, a lot bigger and should win.

really?...didn`t look that way at the weigh-in...gouveia has fought at 205...

alan-belcher-wilson-gouveia.jpg

i was thinking about belcher..but,i`m actually leaning gouveia now.....and buentello....

not sure about gouveia`s staying power...belcher seems to get stronger as the fight progresses...gouveia`s stamina will probably be enough to keep me off this...

still thinking...not the best ufc(wagering wise) imo....

definitely on kongo(i hope he fights smart vs that smug s.o.b. mir)....and a little on sanchez...

favorites prlay of the evening would be fitch/florian/palhares......laying 1 to win 1.30...

for some odd reason, florian has me concerned...he should be able to keep this standing...but,i wonder whether the penn beatdown affected his confidence?...

pierce is primarily a wrestler, and if he out-wrestles and out-toughs fitch, then i was wrong and pay the man with no qualms...

palhares?...another in the line of short brazilian powerhouse jiu-jitsu tanks...but he needs to take linhares down and g&p or heel hook his arse.....don`t stand outside....

hendo didn`t stop him...matter of fact it was damned close...never been stopped...so,weasel rides with palhares...

i leaning to Penn if the odds go down. Already took Kongo. Mir at 264? I thought he usually comes in around the 250 area? Mir to me isn't the type of fighter that can control ya with wrestling. Love his JU jit but im taking a shot here with these odds. I think Kongo catches him. Florian fight i want no part of. Clay is always in these fights and i ain't riskin taking Florian. Going againt Struve. I like Paulie B's hands and think he can handle him. Love to take Hendricks but the kid he is fighting looks half nuts and is undefeated and i don't no shit about him so i will pass on those big odds since i can't parlay him.. Same with Palhares. Another guy (Lucio Linhares) undefeated i know nothing about so i pass. Also Pahlares struggles with gumby and is coming off an injury. This guy is as lanky as Gumby. Odds are to high for me. The one im gonna take a shot at is K Burns. I think the kid is underratted. I think both fights with Rumble were pretty even before th poke and the kick. His last fight i thought he did very well but he gassed at the end. He looks like he is in the best shape of his career and learned from that last fight. Gonna take a shot here in the upset. Not a big fan of Nelson but these odds to me are crazy with Matt Wiman. No way would i bet Wiman.
My picks
Kongo Please fight smart
BJ possible wont go with Sanchez at all
Paul Buentello
Kevin Burns

For those wondering about Mir, I believe he said he's starting to bulk up for a potential rematch vs Brock. I think he felt he was too smal for Brock in the second fight.

PLAYS FOR 107:

Diego Sanchez(+250) for 100 wins 250. -- I know this is probably a loser but not sure Penn should be that big a favorite over a guy who has never been finished and we have all seen how judges work.

Got this in a few weeks ago:
PARLAY:
Jon Fitch
Kenflo
Frank Mir
150 wins 318

Good luck all. I hope I am still awake after watching the Guida fight.:142smilie

Lay he should try to stay quicker. Him bulking up wont help anything. Lesnar is just to strong and Mir would never get close to that strength. I think it hurts him against Kongo. Wonder why Kongo wouldn't look at Mir at the weigh ins. I thought Mir was gonna give Kongo one of these :jerkit:

he`s cattying (literally) 10% extra body weight into this fight.....

if he has to go rounds,i don`t think that`s helpful....big muscles use up oxygen...
