Machida finishes people??

He has 16 wins and 9 are by decision.

Machida is good not doubt, but a known finisher he is not.

And Shogun should have got the decision and will next time.

Look at the last couple years. He has become a finisher. He finished two guys that had never been beaten in the sport. His two decisions over the last couple years are to Ortiz (which he beat up and embarrassed) and Rua (which probably should have been a loss).

umm you are wrong all over the place. He didnt knockout Kongo. His standup is better than the whole heavyweight division. Go watch the Nog fight.. he dropped him numerous times. He lost in the clinch vs Carwin, had nothing to do with his striking..

Nog is so piss slow anyone can knock him out right now. Yeah yeah yeah i know Mir choked him out. After he floored him which set up the choke . Mir fought a ridiculous fight because he now thinks his boxing is flawless which it isn't. He thought he could bang with Carwin and that was mistake number one. go listen to the press conferance and listen to how GSP explains to people on how to fight and how to go after his opponents weakness. Some of these fighters are to stupid to even be fighters. You watch Fitch and he fights to his strengths. GSP fights to his strengh and to his opponents weakness. Mir, and this isnt the first time, fights the stupid style because he is so dam cocky he thinks he can beat anyone anywhere. Glad his cocky ass got knockout. Carwin didn't go in there trying to have a jujitzu match. It would have been foolish.

Kick, GSP wore the same suit again to the press conference. You really need to do something about this.

HELL
Anywhoo, was it me or did it look like Brock was bigger than ever? If Carwin is 6'5", than Brock must be 6'10". That should be a classic.

IMO, Mir fought a stupid fight, although give Carwin credit for getting in the clinch. Carwin's power and snapping punches are a thing of beauty. Thought Mir would try to take it to the ground and get this guy if he could into more rounds to see if his cardio would hold up.

Mir first win against Lesnar he fought a stupid fight and luckily he got knockdown or he would have got knocked out. It was when he fell to the ground he had all his success. Carwin is listed at 6-5 and Mir is 6-3 yet when they stood in the middle of the ring Mir looked two inches bigger:shrug: . I think the UFC is using the WWE measuring stick.

Record since the start of 2009 30-18 +32.14 units

1-0 +2 units on the night

Action plays 1-1 +.15

Really wish Alves would have been able to fight. I know Fitch would have been able to Guida/GSP him.

(KICK won't like this)GSP has become THE most boring champ there currently is. He might be the most dominant but his fear of losing has gotten in the way of also being entertaining. I don't think he's been the same since the Sera loss. He's the perfect example of why I miss Pride. It wasn't all about winning, they put a heavy emphasis on putting on a good show. I honestly have no desire to see GSP fight anyone in the WW class anymore. The fights are just not fun to watch.

I still think Cain is quite better Carwin but Carwin is tough and yeah the bombs he can generate from short distance is something else. The one problem I see for him is that he and Brock are the same guys except Carwin isn't as big(and might not be as quick).

I think Kickserv is angry with the MJ crew for bashing GSP from a entertainment value.

Maybe Kickserv,GSP,and Weinerdog took the day off from talking and went bowling.

i don't know i have to side with GSP here. You can tell the guy is upset he didn't get the finish and have all his fights really been this boring? Last nights was but i thought the Alves fight was a good one. If he finishes Hardy do people change their minds? Hardy was willing to let his arm snap for goodness sakes. I mean if these guys can't stop a takedown is GSP supposed to stand with them all? U can see how GSP wants to make the fans happy and is disappointed. You think Fitch cares about all his boring fights? He couldn't careless what people think. He will grind out every win. GSP was in the locker room after the fight working on why he couldn't get the submissions. Was he boring last night? Yes. Is he always boring? No. Here is a thought. How about these fighters learn how to stop a takedown and force GSP to stand up and fight them?

Sponge said it best.

I mean GSP is the best fighter on the planet......destroys the guys in front of him, yet somehow that isn't good enough. And for fucks sake he almost ripped Hardy's arm off. What the fuck more do you want? The guy is so far and above the best out there yet that isn't good enough:shrug:

For fucks sake give Hardy credit for not tapping, 99 percent of fighters would have tapped in the first round.

Nobody but nobody has come close to beating GSP.....over and over again he just toys with guys in front of him

And unlike that disgrace Fedor he fights top competition. Yet that isn't good enough?

GSP fights smart, listens to his corner, and is constantly improving, yet people complain:shrug:

The guy fucking made Penn quit, I mean what more do you want? Ya want him to fight stupid and stand and trade with a guy. GSP is the best in the world and I guess that isn't good enough?

And the guy is 100 percent class and cares about the fans. If you know anything about MMA you know that GSP wasn't doing a Guida or Mckee, he was trying subs and had two sick subs that somehow Hardy survived from? What in the love of fuck are you guys talking about:shrug:

The guy is so dominating and #1 pound for pound in the world. I guess it is a bad thing to be so good:shrug:

Ur the one that makes everyone hate GSP :mj07: Kick he isnt the best pound for pound fighter either. Silva is and that is the facts. Silva can beat ya so many ways it makes ur head spin. GSP is the best in the 170 division just like Penn is the Best at 155. I would say that Penn is even a better symbol of best pound for pound in the world then GSP is. Sure GSP beat him but that means nothing about best pound for pound. Penn is destroying people at 155. GSP is just controlling people at 170. Hardy didn't even have a scratch on his face. Penn is chasing guys out of 155 and running them up to 170. :mj07:

I think people classify GSP as boring because he has little desires to stand and fight.
Does that make him boring?NO
GSP works on the ground more than most and the proof is no refs ever make them stand up.

Machida stands up but most think he is boring so how you classify boring is different from person to person.

Except with Guida, everyone thinks he is boring.

Maybe you could last night was boring but some falls on Hardy's pathetic takedown defense.

You can fight on the ground and be exciting. GSP doesn't do much damage, case in point, Dan Hardy. 5 rounds of complete control and the guy looks the way most guys look after winning a 1 round fight.

Ask Hardy how his arms feel.......just because you can't see damage doesn't mean there isn't any. Hardy's shoulder is fucked, he even said this morning that he can't lift up his arm past his waist. I'd call that damage.

Man oh man.....madjackers doing LSD on Sunday.

He's fine. Just got off the phone with him. I gave him an ear full about not throwing knees.

GSP taking guys down and laying on them is akin to Floyd Mayweather running around the ring all 12 rounds to outpoint his opponent. both are way boring. I predicted he would lay on him the whole fight, and of course, he did. Snoozefest...

He also doesn't fight the best because Nick Diaz isn't in the UFC. Nick Diaz will beat him if they ever get to fight.
