I am still waiting for Thong to fire off his Bisping to win play like he always does so he can come back in Saturday night and say "I can't believe that I bet him again."

It would not be a Bisping card without that.

Anyone wanting an avatar bet? I said earlier in the thread that I would take Page but I've changed and want Evans so let me know if there are any takers.

haven't looked deeply enough, but hathaway did catch my eye.

was thinking russow might be worth a look as well. duffee is big, but he's inexperienced.

Looks like russo could be worth a shot but it looks like he beat a bunch of stiff. I think McCully is a big time stiff and he couldn't finish him but the odds are nice. Duffy looks like he can over power him. Might be worth a punchers chance tho

My impressions from the weigh in:

-hathaway looked small next to diego

i thought Hathaway looked like he was a foot bigger than Diego. I guess u meant thickness. Gonna go back and find some films of Hath and see how good his hands are cause i think Diego's are overrated and if Diego comes in balls against the wall he may get knocked out like Penn almost did.

Can't see how a Nogueira/Escudero parly doesn't hit. Looks about as solid as u can get.

I am willing to take Rampage tonight.
Winners choice on avatar pic for the loser and it stays up until UFC 115.

He is a Brit Weasy so this concerns me. I just watched a few fights. He totally man handled Paul Taylor but who doesn't when ya take him down and don't have to be worried about being taken down. Watched him fight another guy who had wrestling skills and he snuffed the takedown but got close to being taken down. Man these Brits i just dont know. Seeing Hath getting taken down over and over again by diego will make me sick to my stomach but this kid does look strong. In the one fight i saw him in a guiotene and he slammed the guy like nothin. The kid is tough and has decent hands to be able to stand with taylor.

just don`t know enough about hathaway...theres a group of upper-mid level guys at this weight(story/foster/ellenberger/coy)....just not sure if they`re dominant enough or diverse enough to be considered elite wins....

sanchez has elite wins and lost a split to fitch....

havee to see more hathaway to get a feel for him...but no doubt, sanchez is a HUGE step up....

here he is against story...who oddly enough didn`t even attemp to use his wrestling....very possible that sanchez finishes those subs story couldn`t....and i saw a little give in hathaway in the 3rd...sanchez has great cardio,,,

but i wouldn`t blame anybody for taking the shot with the brit...

i looked all over for that fight. was a good one thanks. I have decided to pass on the fight. Im not sure Hathaway is ready. I think i would rather take Story over Sanchez before Hathaway. Story is a beast so i think anyone would have been tired affter that fight and all they did. I still think he has a chance but that is now the third fight were i saw he gets in trouble with submissions. To risky. Starting to remind me of the last Lytle fight where i think it was foster who had a shot and he got subbed real quick by a more experience fighter. I think the only shot im gonna take tonight is risk the high odds on Efrain. rashad fight to me is his to lose but don't want to risk him getting caught. Gun to my head i would take Rashard. Rampage has an knack for letting guys just hang around when they shouldn't be. Rashard has the style to really frustrate Rampage.

Thoughts:

Evans v. Jackson:
My gut says Jackson wins, but I think Evans will be much better prepared. No way I could bet this with any confidence.

Bisping v. Miller: Is Bisping good enough on his feet to keep Miller from taking him down? I'm guessing no. Miller's two losses were to superior wrestlers. I'll take Miller all day long in this match up.

Sanchez v. Hathaway:
Big step up for John, but I think we could see him at his best. He should finally be comfortable in the octagon against a guy who probably won't be comfortable. Sanchez moving up might not be ready for this. I like Hathaway by decision.

Nogueira v. Brilz: Nogueira is in a different class, but Brilz is no joke. If Nogueira thinks he is going to walk this one, he could be in trouble....but, if he shows up ready, he wins easily.

Russow v. Duffee: Typical oddsmaker BS. NO WAY Russow should be this big of a dog here. One fast KO and a lot of hype have the odds completely out of whack. If Duffee is listening to everyone tell him how great he is, he's gonna get beat tonight. Also, what happens if Russow gets this to the ground. Does Duffee have any cardio? I like Russow at these odds.

Going light on this card. Been in a gambling slump(Tennis has been rough on me) this week other than NBA prop plays which I got going again tonight:

Straight play:
Dong Hyun Kim(+110) over Sadollah for 50 wins 55.
Dan Miller(+167) over Bisping for 50 wins 83.50.

Parlay:
Rampage Jackson
Luis Cane
Little Nog
50 wins 95

Good luck
