Nelson Hamilton, scored rd 1 for Condit:scared :scared

You have to be on crack if you think Rory lost the 1st round.

Also.....I feel bad for Yves.

That makes at least 2 of us that scored round 1 for Condit. Condit landed the biggest shot BY FAR. Not sure how Rory didn't go down on it. I said during the fight, Condit got the better of the stand up in round 1 but handed 3 takedowns to Rory by trying to throw knees. I guess Hamilton didn't respect the takedowns as none were really earned takedowns.
And the 3rd was a 10-8 round if anything so Rory got screwed out of a draw at best.

As for poor Yves, how about poor Kegray thanks to Yves. He should have stopped the Rothwell fight in the 2nd after watching it again. It appeared Rothwell was on dream street once and Gilbert punched some sense back into him.
Screw Yves, he dropped the ball twice last night. You fuck up like that then your night should be done as his judgment was altered.

Just watched the Rory/ Conduit fight. 1st round i give to Rory but actually it was Conduit that did the most damage. Rory got three takedowns and then got the shit beat out of him on top. Rory got hit with about eight leg kicks that round and almost got floored very early by a great right. I could see someone giving that round to Conduit. 2nd round was even closer. Rory got one takedown but gets roughed up when on top. I will give the round to Rory because at the very end they both kicked and landed but Rory stayed on his feet but no way Rory dominated that round. Kick don't u count any of these kick Conduit is landing? third round Rory started off well the first minute but then the beatdown began. If it isn't stopped that is a ten eight round. Best Rory could have gotten was a draw in my opinion. I think it was a good stoppage. The kid is only 20. He doesn't need any more damage. The kid is legit tho but he didn't win that fight at all.

I think it was hard for Kickserv to see the match clearly.

Sheesh......can't make kegray happy.....he blames Yves for not stopping a fight (which was great reffing) and for stopping a fight early.

And kegray thinks Condit won the fight.

Next thing ya know kegray will say Bonnar will beat Coleman.

Rory clearly got robbed..........even Kimbo agrees.

I am still trying to figure out what you mean by robbed?
I have yet to hear anyone say round 3 was 10-9.

Kimbo only thinks Rory won because he stopped watching after round 2. Kimbo had no idea the UFC had 3 rounds. He has never seen them.
He thought round 3 vs Alexander was overtime.

The kid himself even said he lost  let the kid suck up this loss because it is only gonna be good for him. You and ur possee keeps telling a 20 year old he was robbed cause u have those googles Kegray pointed out, will only hurt the kid.

What's with all the broken hands?? Seriously, I know it's a violent sport but is this due to the gloves being so small? If so, why not make bigger f'ing gloves? I'm not saying boxing gloves, but I'm getting tired of the broken hand excuse all the time.

As for Liam Neeson, did they ever say what the hell happened to his face? Did he actually get his jaw broken, or was that just ridiculous swelling due to the Barry punch?

It didn't seem to bother him too much when it was flapping about getting submission of the night and fight of the night.

I never said Cro cop got it.
He was just begging for it afterwards.

And it was a kind of fight of the night.
Worst fight of the night.

Kickserv needs to have a sitdown with Dana about poor stoppages.

With MacDonald absorbing shot after shot from opponent Carlos Condit, referee Kevin Dornan made the unpopular decision of stopping the fight with just seven seconds left in a contest the Canadian youngster seemed assured of no less than a draw result.

At the evening's post-event press conference, UFC president Dana White said the timing of the ending was unfortunate, but he backed the referee's decision completely.

"I'm the first one to blast a referee or a judge for making bad calls," White told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com). "In my opinion, the referees aren't looking at the time. They could give a [expletive] what time it is or how much time is left. They're there to protect the fighters.

"Rory's a young guy. He's got a lot of fights ahead of him, and he took a lot of damage in that last round. I didn't have any problem with the stoppage. It's unfortunate when a fight stops with seconds left. It's one of those things, but you won't hear me bitching about that one."

In some ways, the stoppage might have been a blessing of sorts for the UFC. The promotion faced a few challenges from local authorities when it came to their concerns regarding the safety of mixed martial arts. Dornan's disregard for the amount of time remaining on the clock or the score at the time of his decision showed a true commitment to fighter safety.

White said he believes the referee ruled properly, but he said he doesn't see the action as some sort of example for Vancouver city officials to study.

"I honestly don't ever think about that," White said. "I don't think, 'Oh, no. We're here, or we're there.' I don't care where we are or how comfortable people are with the sport. I want refs to always make the right call and the right decision.

"Even sometimes when I get aggravated with [a stoppage], the [referees] are the closest guys in there. I actually prefer that over fights being stopped too late. I'd rather see it stopped early than late."

u see how some of these guys throw punches? Heck even Fedor doesn't know how to throw one. I bet one out of ten guys know how to throw a punch in MMA.

ghost i had a tough time watching the fights last night and when i saw that i thought the round was over. I turned to my buddy and asked him "did he just hug him"? Like Weasel said all the signs were there for all of us that thought this dope would win and we all should have at least no bet it. The twenty pounds heavier was the big clue. almost like the guy was just happy to be there. He will never see a penny from me again. Im sure he will eventually talk about how he realized it is time to get serious but in my book it is to late. I don't know what is worse to bet in this sport. The dumb fighter or the terrible chin. I know i didn't get sucked into taking Lidell. I need to start betting the other guy in these fights instead of just passin on them. another thing i have to stop is betting a guy blindly without seeing him fight. That is what i did with the guy that fought Pyle. Just stupid.

I totally agree. I didn't bet the main event, but I would have much rather lost my money on Chuck. Dude fought like a gangster and came to win. He hurt Rich several times. His chin gave in, but he showed mad aggression and TRIED TO WIN the entire time.

Pat Barry is a complete sucker. Never seen anything like that.

I lost on Manhoef against Lawler earlier this year, and that was really bad luck. Manhoef wins that fight 8 out of 10 times.

But Pat Barry last night? That wasn't bad luck. That was just a bad bet by all of us. Guy is a straight up can and it goes beyond lacking "killer instinct". The guy didn't care if he won or lost. Even when he was winning the first round, I was worried. HE DIDN"T CARE IF HE WON OR LOST.

When I bet a large amount of money on a guy, I want to see him GOING FOR THE WIN. I never saw that.

When Cro Cop got the choke locked in, I turned away from the TV and just curled up in a fetal position. Blocking my eyes. Thinking of what a complete idiot I was to bet on this loser.

Amazing how a night can turn. I was looking like a damn genius after Dunham and Kampmann took care of biz. But betting on Pat Barry was DUMB DUMB DUMB DUMB DUMB.

The worst part about this was when Goldberg said that is what this sport is all about!

UUUUHHHHH What? The hell it is. This sport is about kicking some guys skull in if that is your skill trade.

If I wanted to see two guys hugging it out then I would flip it over MTV Real World.

I didn't know if Barry wanted to fight him or fuck him.
