just found a video on grispi in which his kicks got him into trouble vs a little known grappler named bernardino.....

he was repeatedly put on his back and showed no inclination to get off the mat...i thought he lost....

i was considering a straight play on grispi at -250(something i seldom do..lay more than -200)...but this video scared the hell out of me and nixed any thoughts i had about laying the wood...

i have a few pars with grispi...i`ll stick with those...poirier,athough relatively inexperienced,isn`t a chump...

Think Stann is a live dog. Better "pure striker". time for that chin of Lebens to get smashed. I was never a fan of the way Leben fights. He should have lost to Akiyama if Akiyama had a brain. He usually loses to anyone with better hands. Stan isn't gonna have to worry about a wrestler this time. Bisping picked Leben apart fighting smart. Stann should have the power to finish this.
Like Clay and Silva also. Pass on the Franky Maynard fight. Not a real good betting card in my opinion. Tavares and Steven look okay but rather take Tavares. Is Davis finally washed up?

One fight that sticks out a mile for me.

Vera is going to murder Silva and will make it look easy.

Vera is a much better technical striker and is not easy to take down.

I think Silva is too macho to try and take Vera down and will end up getting taken apart standing.

Vera has fought some very big boys and I have not seen him staggered.
Even when Bones crushed his face, he still had his wits about him, he was in severe pain but still coherent.

This is a bad match up for Silva. He will come out swinging, get tagged by kicks and knee's, start to gas and end up getting picked apart.

Mark my words, I see the future in this fight :mj07:

i agree,oui.....in spite of vera`s unfathomable struggles at 205,i think he`s very live........silva isn`t the riddle that jardine was.....and we all know that vera was robbed vs couture....

+135 dog in a pick-em fight?......i`ll bite...

taking a flyer on volkmann at +220...he may get ground and pounded....but his strength is the same as mckee`s....wrestling....and his wrestling credentials may be a tad better...

+220 witha world class wrestler 10 years mckee`s junior is enough to get this sucker to bite....and we`ve seen some guys come a cropper in their first ufc attempt.....small...

and i think spongy has a point with stann....he`s training with an excellent crew....maybe he can be cute with leben for 3...and packs enough of a punch to make leben pay for getting careless...

Not looking much at the odds i didn't realize Vera was the dog. This might be a boring fight unless Silva takes a few chances. I'll pass on this one. I thought Silva was the dog :facepalm:

I thought he won both fights, but he always blows it.

He has screwed me more times than my girlfriend of 5 years

I think this is good matchup for him, but I don't know if I can take betting on him and losing another SPLIT.

The guy is talking a BIG game in the lead - says his ego is in check and he has something to prove.

Let's see what happens - he has to pull the damn trigger.
