Imagine if Tito beats Evans......he'd be one fight away from a title fight.....talk about a turn around:scared

One fight away from getting cut to one fight away from the title:scared

Any odds on Evans over Tito? Tito fucking sucks.

Damn, I wish Machida would have taken it, but I don't see a huge upside to proving you are better than Rashad....again.

This looks bad on Machida........Machida backs off and Tito steps up.

I will be betting on Tito again........Tito can beat Evans, Tito will get me another huge underdog win:SIB

The short notice will be a killer though......but I think Tito has a real shot at beating Evans.....note, if it were not for the point deduction Tito already beat Evans.

Go Tito.......pull off another massive upset:00hour

I think the opening line should be around +510 to +540 range for Tito to win. The line would be around there I think.

LOL at all the hate against Machida. WOW some people are clueless. Id want a lot more money to step in on short notice for a fight that you've already proved yourself none the less. I don't blame Machida...I do blame his asking price though.

You don't think Tito is gonna get paid more? If you don't think so, then LMAO

Tito is going to beat Rashad. He pretty much already has.

I got no problem at all with Machida not taking the fight. But ya sure as fuck don't accept the fight and then 10 hours later pull that shit. Then have your wife do an interview with Sherdog.

Dick move by Machida....super dick move.

Oh and Machida asking for "Anderson money" is laughable.

Machida better win his next fight or Dana will be gunning for him.

What the fuck was Machida thinking:facepalm:

Piss off Zuffa........nice job Machida:facepalm:

UFC scrambling for a replacement and ya pull that shit.........fuckhead:nono:

0.25 unit on Ortiz

First fight was close and was a good 4 years ago. But Tito has injuries and after surgery appears more confident in himself.

The age and wear and tear on the body worries me as does the speed of Evans. The quick turnaround, depending on what he has been doing, could help or hinder him. But Tito has a significant size advantage and decent boxing. It's called gambling for a reason so I'll throw the dice :0corn

tito manned up?...i looked at their first fight (as i was doing some leg work on tito/darth bladder) and tito basically got the better of the grappling aspect of the fight with evans and evans only got a draw because of a point deduction.......that`s why i was seriously looking at davis......people were treating davis like an evans win was a foregone conclusion.....i didin`t believe that for a second...

f-cking ortiz ,huh?....never thought he`d take the fight....

Props to Tito for stepping up when the UFC needed him. Fighting on Evans on short notice is no easy task and I don't blame Machida one bit

Tito can win this. If he can use his size (Evans is undersized for the division) we will have to call Tito the comeback kid!

i bet on rashad in that first tito encounter and feel fortunate for the tug of cage and point deduction to get the draw

BUT i will bet on RASHAD AGAIN

i remember joe rogan was saying rashad didnt have his legs, like he was overtrained

rashad has come a long way(seasoning and experience)

that tito fight was his first big one under spotlight out of ultimate fighter...

right?

Yeah he was coming off the brutal head kick of Salmon and the KO of Lambert with powerful punches from the mount. He had a lot of steam behind him but people thought he was to small for the top of the division

Lucky Dana didn't cut his ass.

He can do whatever is best for him. He was stepping up and taking the fight likely out of being true to the ufc/sport, but then re-evaluated and realized how much weight he'd have to cut in short time, and he wouldn't be ready to fight.

Lucky Dana didn't cut his ass? Yeah

I can remember that first fight like it was yesterday. I went HUGE on Tito and to be honest I felt fortunate to get a draw. I thought Evans figured it out about half way through the fight. In the first fight I thought Tito's size advantage would be the big thing but I was surprised that he couldn't keep Evans down. I think Evans takes this one by moving a lot, throwing a few big punches and then going for one or two take downs a round.

I could care less if I'm wrong because I don't really care who wins. Tito would get smoked by Bones so maybe I'll root for Evans because at least there's a story for he and Bones when they fight.

Big props to Tito for taking the fight. I'm sure it doesn't hurt knowing how much he'll make.

i find it hilarious how guys who actually watched the Tito Rashad fight awhile back, seem to think Tito basically dominated it. He ggrab the fence so many times it was getting embarassing. These game and positioning changing fence grabs are so huge in a fight. Tito would have been on his ass ten times in that fight if it wasn't for this blatant cheating. Some guys watch fights and just want to see what they want to see.
Now on another note is Tito more healthy going into this fight? Possible.
Gary and Lay how could the two of u think there was nothing in this fight for Machida? He wins he is the number one or two contender. I think that is something. Now look what he has done. He might have dropped to tenth rank now with Dana and his short fuse. I don't diss the guy for backing out. He should get paid top dollar to fill in for a headline fight on short notice. I bet he didn't even get half of what Tito was offered to step in so Dana is full of shit in this area. throw the guy another hundred tho for goodness sakes is it really gonna hurt this much? Tito just got 450 thou for his last fight. Only Brock and Chuck get that kind of doe.
