Where the hell is Kegray? It's coming up on football season and I need to be him an avatar so he has to fly the Red Raider one.

I wish they'd make these guys weigh in twice. Today and tomorrow. Some of these cuts fighters make are rediculous. Like Chael stepped on the scale at Q&A at 217 pounds, but fights at 185. Crazy

I like hamill to control his fight in a boring way, and I like Phan to win his with some big heart. As much as this card has struggled, there still should be some very entertaining fights!

Neither Akiyama or Belfort have historically shown great cardio. However, I think Akiyama makes the mistake of even trying to stand ANY, and gets TKOd here. I happen to think Akiyama's cardio is worse then Belfort, so if the fight goes further and further, I think it still favors Belfort. Just an all around bad matchup for Akiyama. Taylor made by the UFC to have a highlight for Belfort.

I agree with Bucs here completely, this is a terrible matchup for Akiyama. It looks like "they" are trying to get Belfort (one of the most exciting fighters in the UFC) back on track, and its coming at the expense of Akiyama who has been a major disappointment.

The reason Akiyama came over to the UFC was to test himself against what he felt were the best fighters in the world, which is why I believe he will stand and bang out of pride. He has Japan on his back and this may very well be his last fight, and I don't think he wants to go out looking like a pussy.

I have action on belfort ITD, KOTN, and quickest KO. IMO, Belfort looked very confident and relaxed at the weigh ins like he knew he was being given an opportunity here, whereas Akiyama looked a little nervous.

This one could get ugly fast. "He aint Sexyama no more"

I thought the size difference was huge. They look like they should be in a different weight class

Thats because Tito has chicken legs. The the upper legs hold the most weight (quads are the biggest muscle in the body). So, in this case looks can be deceiving.

I know all this because I spend a lot of time admiring mens glutes, quads, and hammys. :SIB

Think back to Kongo/Barry. Kongo looked huge compared Barry, but Barry actually weighed considerably more. This is because (like Tito) most of his muscle mass is in his upper body, whereas Barry had solid legs, hips, and glutes which is actually where the most strength and power are generated in the human body.

I swear Sarah Kaufmann has thicker legs than Tito.

I am still around. This card has me about as excited as I am looking forward to Texas football this year.

I will grab a wager with ya soon just because it will be embarassing to fly Texas colors if you like them or not.

not crazy about this card either,,,not buying it...gonna find a stream or two........much more enthused about next weeks event....but i`m touching a few things lightly...

-hedging hallman wins via sub at +425(that`s crazy, imo) with a flat on ebersole at +105....ebersole`s never been k.o.`ed...but he`s been subbed 9 times in 14 losses.....hallman has 39 subs in his 50 wins....worried a little about hallman hugging out a win,but from what i`ve read, ebersole has some wrestling credentials(wrestled since age 5...wrestled at eastern illinois which is matt hughes` old school)...,so,we`ll hope for the best....

-i have" belfort wins in rd 1" +275 hedged with akiyama at +255......just playing percentages again...belfort with 15 stoppages in 19 wins....13 in the first round...

actually, both guys do an awful lot of finishing in the ist round...akiyama has 10 stoppage wins in the 1st in 13 wins...

hard to gauge akiyama`s cardio based on the belcher and leben fights....both were grueling, physical, fast paced fights....most guys would fade a bit in a fight like that....neither has had to go deep all that many times so i understand the cardio concern for both guys.......

-took a very small play on philippou +145....80 amateur fights(boxing)....his achilles heel is grappling but that shouldn`t be an issue here........should be a stand-up fight....rivera could whack him...but he looked particularly thin at the weigh in and he is 37....

-very small bradley at even money..

have rashad pending in a par(with tyson fury and amir khan in boxing)....but the long layoff, tito`s momentum and the size differential worries me....

still looking....tough wagering card...
