and when Tito wins, i'm sure you'll be here to eat your crow...:142smilie @ some of you people who will say anything and dig deep for any reason to slam someone...

did a great job the first time. god, some of you guys talk about conditioning and ring rust for the guys you're against, but when it's your guy, you completely forget that Rashad hasn't fought in 14 months and 6 days come fight night.

lets not act like Rashad has ever had good cardio to begin with...Give me the fresh, in shape, sharp, and full momentum and confident Tito. I don't know how you couldn't bet Tito given all the facts, circumstances, style, and ODDS.

we agree to a certain extent...first fight was close....that doesn`t mean that tito `s good...it means that styles make fights...evans is probably exremely overrated.....and a very small guy comparatively at 205 who doesn`t use his wrestling all that well in an mma context.........this could be close only because both guys have cardio issues...and rashad is one of the most overrated guys in the ufc...

make no mistake, the bader win was an anomaly..... tito`s extremely lucky he`s not in with phil davis here....he has a better chance against evans...

that shot that he caught bader with was one of the most ugly push-punches i`ve ever seen...it was akin to hitting the lottery....how many times have you seen tito hit anybody like that?....he throws punches like his arms are sewed to his sides...he fights short armed...luckily here he has a height advantage...he needs it...he throws punches like he`s 5`9"....

tito`s time is over..i doubt seriously that lightning strikes twice...even given the favorable style match-up...

wow, lightning strike twice? you mean evans getting a point deduction in his favor? is that what you're implying? LMAO

Tito will beat Rashad if Rashad decide he wants to fight, but I doubt it. I expect Rashad to only shoot for takedowns and clinch the entire fight. Problem is, his cardio is gonna be terrible, and Tito's will be top notch. The real fight begins in the 2nd round.

the bader fight(but you knew that)...you have your head so far up tito`s ass,you can smell his shampoo...why?....he`s just hanging onat this point.....he hit one lottery shot...that ought to do it(unless he can fight shamrock a few more times:lol: )/////

tito`s cardio is only good when he`s laying on top of somebody for 3 rounds.....he`s a front runner......the guy is extremely lucky he didn`t come into mma 5 years later than he did...

Overall 47-36-2 +35.79 units

Opinion 17-17 +3.25untis(always .5 unit bets)

Hendricks -120 4units

I'm getting Hendricks in now and going big on him. This IMO is his biggest fight to date. Pierce is a really good fighter but someone that Hendricks should beat if he's going to be a top tier fighter. Pierce has lost to the two best wrestlers he's faced in Munoz and Fitch. I really like Hendricks and how he's progressed and IMO a loss here and there for young fighters can be a good thing. I look for Hendricks to man hump Pierce to a victory.

One question for everyone.... What the hell is up with the Hamill line? This should be the best of the century with the line set where it is. There is no way Gustaffson can stop Hamill from taking him down. I guess the only problem is that Hamill thinks he's a "pure stirker" now.

I'm probably still going to go big on Hamill. I think he needs the win enough that he'll fight smart.

I'm on Pierce for this one

Super close match up with two good wrestlers. Hendricks is the better wrestler but he can be wild and very aggressive with his striking which can lead to him being in trouble. I also think he is kind of to small for 170 - similar to Diego Sanchez in that they are both need a 160 division. Hendricks won the NCAA Division I wrestling title at 165 pounds.

Having said that he will have his moments in this fight but I can see Pierce getting some takedowns. Not sure if he can keep him there. On the feet they are both improving

Also Akiyama and Belfort to go the distance.
May sound like a strange play. Belfort has only gone the distance 3 times in the last 6 years - the last being in 2007. Belfort hits hard and fast and can be very explosive. Akiyama has good hands and is dangerous on the ground and a good starter. After an explosive opening I expect cardio issues to appear and the action to slow down with maybe Akiyama doing some ground fighting

Hamil against Gustafsson. I admit I'm a little puzzled by the line. Gustafsson was taking down by a green Phil Davis (no shame there) as well as James Te-Huna (may have been a trip I can't remember). I see Hamil closing the distance then fighting from there. If he does not then I can see Gustafsson controling the striking. Hamil was scared against Rampage. I don't think he will be here and will just try to walk down Gustafsson

Neither Akiyama or Belfort have historically shown great cardio. However, I think Akiyama makes the mistake of even trying to stand ANY, and gets TKOd here. I happen to think Akiyama's cardio is worse then Belfort, so if the fight goes further and further, I think it still favors Belfort. Just an all around bad matchup for Akiyama. Taylor made by the UFC to have a highlight for Belfort.

Im a big fan of Gustafsson. He said that the fight with Davis really opened his eyes in training and he has made great progress since. 2 finishes via submission/ground game. I will not deny that The Hammer has the advantage wrestling, but he's fought weird lately, and I don't think he's a legitimate threat on the ground as far as doing damage. I don't have a winner in this fight picked yet, but it'll definitely be a war of attrition.

Either way, great fight discussion.

Hamil has not shown us much ground and pound in his career and seems to favor the KO. I think he has more say in the direction of this fight than Gustafsson - just not sure if he will pick the right one. Gustafsson is the one who has more momentum at this stage and I have grown a liking to his style.

Akiyama cardio issues I think are down to his obession with looking like a bodybuilder. He needs to be at 170 easy. Belfort's recent bout with Hep A will probably not be a factor but won't know for sure until the fight and I like to not think of him as old as he is only 27 days older than me! I just hope Akiyama does not test his boxing with Belfort because that is asking for trouble
