imo, this is something that silva will have to be cognizant of.......he goes apeshit sometimes and you can`t do half the stuff in ufc that you can in pride.....

which, btw, may be part of the reason that 1st time pride guys struggle a bit in the ufc...

the rules are a bit different....

I was talking to a buddy about that today. You took the words out of my mouth.

thanks guys for the climenti and irvin picks! saved a bad night. im suprised we havent seen bucs tonight, he posted a lot about this card.

i don't know enough about these guys to cap, so i just played the lines on the machida/sokudojo (sp) fight. line went from +127 suk to +116 machida.

anyone who backed silva early could have a nice scalp now.

I took lidell at +130, and hughes at +230 both small. not really confident in either, just liked the line.

My bets for what they are worth (which aint much as I always lose).

IFL- Wagney Fabiano LARGE. I have won a lot of money on Wagney as I don't think the books knew anything about him and he was the underdog in a few fights. Unfortunately, they do now.

Lister- LARGE. Radov looked like shit in his last fight, getting KTFO in about 30 seconds. He will take it to the ground and that is Listers world. Lister by sub from his back.

Machida- LARGE. Machida is great at nullifying his opponents strenghths and grinding out boring decisions. I want to see what happens if Sok does not win in the first round.

Cane- SMALL. Never been high on Irwin and he is coming back from a bad injury.

Clementi- SMALL. Melvin is a little nuts and can be subbed.

DeSouza- SMALL. Very evenly matched but Roan tends to gas. That might be the difference.

Bocek- SMALL. I have seen Bocek in high level sub contests and the guy is a very good wrestler. IF he can take Evans down he will win easily but that is a big IF.

GSP- SMALL. I think he will dominate Hughes again because he is a better wrestler in MMA.
I will never bet heavy on him after seeing him do the Judah dance against Serra.

Liddell- SMALL. I think Siva's punch resistance is gone. I have seen it in boxers many times. Tex Cobb blocked all of Ernie Shavers punches with his face for 7 rounds until Shavers ran out of gas hitting him. Cobb later got pummeled in a round by guys like Dee Collier.
Doug DeWitt took FLUSH shots from Tommy Hearns for 12 rounds and just laughed at him (I have never seen anything like it until Mayorga came along). After that fight his punch resistance just disappeared and he was stopped by a couple of powderpuff punchers.
I love Wand but I think taking punishment from heavy hitters like Cro-Cop and Hunt has taken it's toll. Compare his first fight with Henderson to the second. It was not the same fighter. Maybe he just needed a rest like he is saying but I believe his punch resistance is gone.
He was too brave for his own good.

Take this for what it's worth as I almost ALWAYS lose at MMA.

Yeehaw!! I am just TTT this boys as all my big wagers have hit and I also had much more on Clementi than I originally thought which turned it into a medium bet.

No matter what happens, I am up a small fortune for a change.:00hour
