Well, I'll take my loss like a man. Tito has really f'd me this year, get the F out Tito. Go fight Kimbo, I will be praying for Kimbo to knock him the hell out.

Lay i have to disagree about Tito. He gave his all and it has to be totally frustrating to fight a guy like that. I don't know how they can give Machida all three rounds when if it wasn't for Tito there wouldn't even have been a fight. machida is a talent i know that for sure but nobody wants to watch a fighter like that. He is the type that if he could land a punch early he might run the rest of the night. He picks his spots so carefully he could go a round without doing anything at all. Im no fan of Tito's what so ever but there really wasn't much he could have done in that fight. tito to me is just a bull with limited speed. Maybe shamrock will fight a third fight with him:mj07:

Rumors are that Wandy is going to drop weight and fight Anderson Silva in his next fight.

I heard them say that too, and not sure how he shaves off 20 pounds to make it happen. He would look anorexic....

I've seen the rumors about Wandy but I'm pretty sure he's already said he wont' fight Anderson or Shogun because they're friends from their Chute Boxe days. I really don't think it would be hard for Wandy to cut down though, he's not a big 205er at all.

You can say all you want about Machida but in the name of the UFC game it's all about winning. This is what happens, guys end up playing it safe because it's more important to win than to put up a good fight. If you don't win then you don't come back. That's why everyone loved Pride, they cared more about the fight than who won and lost. I think that might be part of the problem with a lot of the Pride guys, they go all out even if it means being knocked out where as the UFC guys put the best game plan together for victory. It makes them too conservative of fighters. The best example of this in the UFC I can give is Nick Diaz, I loved watching him fight and he would stand and bang with anyone but he lost so they didn't care.

alright let's get this out of the way first........

Nice game-plan Sherk, you are a dumb fu**
Come on guys, give me a break!!!

Sherk had one of the best, UNEXPECTED fight strategies I have ever seen put into action.

Stumble forward getting hit in face until Penn hopefully slips in a pool of your blood and knocks himself out.

Most people with great takedowns would have diverted from the plan after their face was turned into hamburger meat but not Sean "The Muscle Brain" Sherk, he followed his game winning strategy until the end.

TWO BIG THUMBS UP TO SHERK :00x15 :00x15

I got the parlay on Clementi and Kim correct.....what did I get wrong?

Everything else:mj07: :mj07:

So close with Tito.....thought I won that one...he was so damn close to submitting that borefest Machida....damn so close..so close.

Machida =:mj18:

kickserv selections............:00x4

weasel alerted kickserv to the "13 wager mojo"....kickserv kicked weasel to the curb....

what lesson does a gambler take from this situation?(is a detailed description of the carnage that befell a heretofore excellent mma handicapper necessary?...methinks not).....

next time,do not treat weasel like "wormslime".....

heed any future warnings from "he who has the snappy, new, extremely offensive avatar".....

i thought Machida was brilliant

it was pleasing to me to see Machida execute

i'd rather watch that gameplan he worked tito with than see Tito beat on an over the hill Ken Shamrock

i bet he comes out and says his hand was broken and this is why he never went for the takedown. The problem with that excuse is that his corner never once mention to try to get a takedown. Like Kick said that corner should be barred from working any corner ever again.

I've heard rumos that Sherk may have hurt his back early in the fight which would be a reason for no takedown attempts.
Something seems odd here. He is good and smart to just stand and jab.

KEG:

The announcer picked up on a Sherk right hand injury. I think there was in fact some kind of injury.

Anybody know how Sherk feels today? I thought BJ cracked his skull w/ the knee shot.

actually,if you broke a hand, wouldn`t you be better off on the ground than standing and striking one handed with the superior striker?.......

at least that way,you can use some elbows...

i don`t think a broken hand is a defense for the mental breakdown we saw last night...

if think b.j. got into sherk`s head with that,"he`s been broken twice and i`ll break him again" schtick....

very poor showing for sherk...that hurts his legacy(if there is such a thing in mma yet)...

I think the hand injury was in the late 2nd or early 3rd.
They didn't mention a back issue, but mma forums are saying something happened to it early.

Either way BJ destroyed him.

Sokoudjou called out Shogun. Shogun is probably wondering why a guy who wasn't even on the main card is calling him out??

Machida is boring, but to his credit he had a gameplan unlike Sherk. He was hell bent on not letting Tito take him down and he did get a takedown in the 1st and his kicks were scoring.

Keith Jardine has NO CHIN and Chuck never took advantage of that in their fight.

Rumors are that Wandy is going to drop weight and fight Anderson Silva in his next fight.

Ummm, because Soko and the Chute Boxe guys have a HUGE rivalry brewing.

I've wanted Wandy to KTFO Sokou for the longest time.

As far as Anderson Silva, there's been big time rift between the two since Anderson left Chute Boxe and said the things he did.

I'd love to see the match.

Also...I told you guys by taking all those dogs that you were asking for trouble :)

Id rather stand then try to hold someone down. If he test positive for steriods is it possible BJ by licking his blood could test positive too? What is up with BJ licking someone elses blood? Fukin disgusting if you ask me. Am i supposed to think he is tougher because he does that?

your game is wrestling...you have the reach of a penguin...you have a bad power hand.....

and you`re better off standing and fighting at a snail`s pace vs a guy with cardio issues?.....

spongy, were you involved in formulating sherk`s train wreck of a game plan?...

you gotta be kidding...

Go try and wrestle someone with one hand especially Penns caliber. You' 'lll be on your back catching elbows the first time you try to grab the guy. At least on your feet you can move around and try to avoid being hit. Neither way you are gonna win but standing you might be able to leave in one piece. On the ground threr is no way to save your hand. You wouldn't have a pray on the ground.

Jardine had to take the ole ride of shame to the hospital after the bout.... heard that from Tito in a post fight interview.

:dizzy: :dizzy: :dizzy:

Not sure why he should be shamed. I thought he was headed for a pine box!
