http://mixedmartialartvideos.com/2008/01/27/cole-miller-vs-jeremy-stephens-video-ufc-fight-night-12/

and your banned 3 minutes for being off topic....small ban:142smilie

Yeah i just came back to correct that to Cole Miller. I was hoping everyone was aslleep so i could sneak in and edit it. Stevens got caught in 5 different submissions :mj07: I never knew how close i was to losing that fight. Betting him will age ya but the little fuker wins.

Ohio but not a Buckeye
Vera over Werdum large -160

Davis over Swick med +105

Liaudin over Taylor med +206

I found this UFC fairly difficult to make picks for.

I actually think the opposite as far as the difficulty.

I'm going with:

Hughes over Alves
Vera of Werdum
Davis over Swick
Kampmann over Rivera
Tavares over Wiman
Sanchez over Hardonk

Parlayed Vera-Kampmann-Tavares-Sanchez on seperate bet.

I'm locking this in now, I think this is easily the best pick of this UFC.

Nate Marquardt -180 4units

I can't remember the last time I went this large on a pick, it was either Tito vs Evans or GSP vs Hughes. Either way I think it's gravy.

trying to pick competitive fights and not just jumping on obvious large chalk,i still lean to most of the favorites..

agree with layin on marquardt(-160)...swick(-120)...vera(-125).......and one of my faves as an mma fan, martin kampmann(-240)...all of these guys are matched tough........no sure things here...

some straight,mostly parlayed....

I understand alot of people are picking against Bisping b/c they dont like him, or the shady decision he got in England against Hammil, or maybe b/c they are countrymen of Day BUT I think with my wallet and I have Bisping winning.

Can Day win? Sure he can. Anyone "can" beat anyone. I just dont think it will happen here. Bisping looks like he's taking his career seriously by coming in very lean at 185. He's always been a physically strong guy and I think the weightclass drop helps him b/c he was actually kinda "soft" at 205 (unlike ripped guys who drop weight classes and look like skeletons). If the fight does go the distance I see him getting the nod if it is marginally close. As long as he doesn't get submitted or ko'd and keeps the fight reasonably competetive he wins. Now factor in that he can BANG standing and has very good TD defense. Well, with those factors and "homefield advantage" I think you'd have to say this is an 80/20 fight in favor of Bisping.

Just my opinion.

eddie...i like bisping here...have him in a parlay....to many advantages....he`s a solid fighter,imo...i think he was in trouble at 205 vs saome of the monsters in that division....he`s a pretty big guy at 185

Ur right, Bisping does look like he fits better in the 185 lb division.. And ive realized lately how easy it is to be biased in this sport.

Unfortunately, we havent seen much of Bisping at 185.. McCarthy clearly did not come to fight his last time out and any way u look at it, Day is a step up in competition.. I give Day a much better chance at winning than 20%..... honestly I couldnt be confident laying money on odds for Bisping.. just not worth the risk IMO. On the other hand, I really think Day is a good play... hes very aggressive and Bisping doesnt do well against opponents who press him..

Bisping has become a household name in recent years, but his record is deceiving b/c he just hasnt fought top-tier guys (other than Rashad Evans, who did not look impressive against Bisping).... In fact, I give the edge to Day in competition.. Hes 15-2 in his last 17 fights w/ wins over David Loiseau, Jonathan Goulet, Alan Belcher, Marcus Hicks (i know hes smaller now, but a real tough guy to submit)... Day's last loss was against Patrick Cote..

DAY IS THE WAY (it rhymes) at UFC 85

GL guys.

These odds hard to pass up (for a small play) in my opinion.. Neither guy is easily finished.. Vera has a history of finishing his opponents, but Werdum has a history of "surviving" and at least making it to a decision.. As ive said b4, I dont think Werdum gets his way w/ his sloppy takedowns and I can only see him winning by submission.. Just some thoughts..

If i had to choose an outcome it would be Vera TKO, but a decision is very possible.

GL if u play it.

The Manic Hispanic is about to take the cage by storm.
I hope he goes for a takedown because I am not sure he wins a striking match. Everyone continues to say Hardonk has some of the best kicks in the sport.

Damn hispanic.
He got finished.
Eddie was clearly getting the better of Hardonk, but his finishing power never came. Many knockdowns and he never finishes him so he winds up getting KO'd.

Paul Taylor(from England) gets a split decision even though both Sherdog and MMAJunkie have it the other way.
Here we go with England fighters getting judges decisions. Same thing with Bisping/Hammil @75.

Day may need to finish Bisping.
