GW......obviously if I had a gun to my head I'd be on Vera, but with the odds I am taking a shot. But more importantly it is an "anti Vera" play. The guy has pretty much sucked in well forever. And yes, the UFC is giving him Patt so he can win. And yes Vera knows he's done in the UFC if he goes down, and yes everything points to Vera winning. But just wait and see, don't say I didn't warn ya....the +440 dog has a shot. Should Vera win, damn righ he should, but this is Vera we are talking about, guy pretty much sucks now.

Best bets on the card are Munoz and Day.....one of those two doggies will win for sure, no way they both lose.

kickserv is cocky right now.....look out:D

It is official................

Madjackers are all over the place.....it seems every fight has one guy on each side....no consensus for UFC 96 that's for sure:scared

Usually we agree, but not this time......madjackers will be fighting after this card:box2: :box2:

Small bet on Gonzaga at -160. I hate his weight but he is the more talented fighter.

yep, he's too heavy weepaul

"the bunker"
some have been calling carwin "the jolly 'green' giant" because he`s so raw...

but couture bullied him and carwin is twice as big and strong and a decorated wrestler to boot...

if i were in carwin`s corner i`d tell him to take it to the mat as fast as possible...

otherwise, gonzaga`s kicks are gonna hurt carwin,imo...

Aaron Riley vs. Shane Nelson
Round 1
Riley comes out kicking. Nelson catches one kick, but Riley gets his leg back. Riley stalking forward. He kicks, and Nelson counters with a right hand that drops Riley. Riley recovers quickly, but the fight is stopped. Riley immediately protests, and the crowd boos what looks to have been a very premature stoppage at 1:44.

MICHAEL PATT VS. BRANDON VERA

Round 1 - Aftrer a touch of the gloves, we're underway. Vera lands an early leg kick and follows with a stiff jab. The fighters then trade leg kicks, but Vera counters with a slick right-kick-right-punch-left-punch combination. Vera lands another leg kick and just misses an overhand right. Patt checks a head kick but then is clocked with another kick to the leg. Vera sneaks through an uppercut and then backs up Patt with a stiff left. It's all Vera two minutes in.

A final leg kick secures a dominant 10-9 round for Vera.

I'm disgusted its going to round 2
