if Carwin wins, i'm gong to be so pissed I couldn't get Vera or Nelson...I wanted both but no line available
winner of Carwin vs Gonzaga should face Velasquez(provided he beats Herring) for the #1 contender to face Mir/Lesnar fight(provided that fight is still on)....I still would like to see Kongo advance because I think he has the TALENT to be a top 5 UFC HW.

Exactly why this is the best fucking sport to watch. As a fan, KOs like that and fights that end that abruptly is exactly what keeps me coming back for more!!
I've always said and thought Gonzaga was overrated because of that Cro Cop win. He just doesn't have any heart, and way too many holes for his "talent."
Also, Carwin wasn't OVERLY impressive, but I'll take it. He needs to crisp up his punches because quickness is the reason why he won. He could've easily been the vitim had he not been quicker to the punch.

Please oh please UFC, bring back AA and then get Fedor.
The HW division would take this sport and the UFC to another level. Fedor, Lesnar, AA, Randy, Mir, Cain V, Carwin and you would have some massive battles between those guys.
For the scraps you can have Gonzaga, Kongo and I'm not sure where to put Nog but throw him in as well.

I thought Carwin did great on the ground...Gonzaga didn't do shit, but let him back up...Carwin was a bit wild and open on his feet, but he was quicker, and that got it done. I agree he'll get KO'd if he doesn't crisp up, but now he's got time.
well, after 1 round, that's close....rampage landed the most power, but i thought jardine was the most consistant and effecitve. the key to beating rampage is to make the fight go as long as possible.
