"the bunker"
I never said Kang wasn't winning the fight with Belcher. I just said I thought he looked very poor for Kang's standards. Maybe it is because I thought he looked poor vs Mousasi and Akiyama(of course those 2 can make you look bad).
I am used to seeing Kang finish guys in under 5:00 minutes and he should have finished Belcher but didn't and lost for it.

This is the Denis Kang I expect and have not seen lately:

i believe the kang/belcher fight is on spike tonight.....

Agreed great to see "the crow" back. He has never been the same since that 5 round battle with Franklin. He will beat Herman. Back in UFC, and fighting in hometown and GSP in his corner. Can you say win:SIB

Oh and I love Cane.

Got to do some more research on this fight but i can't see how Ed Herman wins.

I am off to work soon so here are my bets for this event.

I am betting lots of fights!!!

I can't believe this is the event that Kick has decided to back favourites!!!
The Canadian Bacon has gone to his head.

LARGE PLAYS!!!!!
Hardonk to beat Kongo at +240.
Hardonk might just break Kongo's spindly legs in half.
If it go's to the ground, Hardonk will throw up sub attempts.
The only advantage I think Kongo has is in the chin department.

Quarry to beat Jay Mac at +115.
Mac has NO stand-up and Quarry is a pretty good wrestler.
I think this is a replay of the Franklin fight for Mac.
Mac's subs are good but he has been subbed by Kalib and Cote for Fuck sake.

Herman to beat The Crow at +110.
What a gift. Has anyone seen the Crow recently??
He is completely shit. Herman is going to give the Crow a taste of his own medicine with elbows from ground and pound.

SMALL BETS!!!
Rua to beat Liddell at +160.
If Rua has a gas tank, Liddell is in trouble. That's a big IF.

Leites to beat Silva at +440.
I guess I will never get over Anderson's sub losses to Chonan and Takase, UGH!!!

Stann to beat Soszynski at +145.
Soszynski is overated. I just hope Stann has more than 3 minutes in the gas tank.

Cantwell to beat Cane at +235.
Cantwell is a very skilled youngster and Cane seems small for 205.

I am LOVING this card!!!!!!

Good luck boy's!!!! :toast: :toast: :toast:

2009 record 11-2 +23.11 units

Hardonk +235 .5unit
Macdonald -110 .5unit

Adding

Shogun +165 .5unit

I feel like this line is a little too high so hopefully there's some value in it. There's not one fight on this card I feel real has a ton of value but I have some action at least.

many pars hinging on silva....several hinging on cane....

and i agree with the wee-ster...i think that herman at even money and quarry as a miniscule dog are worth looking at....yes,homecourt is an issue....still,i think the odds on these are tempting...have to consider these a little longer...

herman needs to take it to the ground and quarry should try and keep it standing,imo...

the louiseau fight concerns because he`s hard to finish and herman tends to gas...but,this would be herman`s 3rd loss in a row...it`s do or die...

i wish...i really wish that cane were fighting stann and cantwell vs sosynski(?).....

really think cantwell has some promise...he`s just in a little too deep...too soon....

after watching some cane video,the dewd is no joke....definitely a contender...has a complete game(jits/striking/ground/thai).....

Love the parlay Silva and Liddel, just not sure how much to wager on it. Right now looking like 2.25 units to win 2.

Leites doesn't stand a shot in hell to beat Anderson Silva. On top of the fact that Anderson is hungry to improve from his last performance against the Predator.

I'll take Anderson via KO/TKO 1st Round

Quary +105 (1 unit) sorry Mac...
Cane -300 (1 unit) Cane will eat cantwell for lunch.... this one will be ugly....

I caught a little of the UFC pre fight stuff on Spike and one the thing I was suprised about was how strong Anderson is. Actually I'm not suprised, I'm shocked. Some of the weights he was lifting was very impressive. I remember Rich saying that he was very suprised at how strong Anderson was and now I can see it. I never figured he was strong or powerfull, I just figured his striking was so precise and quick that it made up for it. Now I'm thinking it's all of the above and that's why he's so damn good.

After this fight the UFC needs to stop messing around and let him fight one of the bigger names in the LHW division. Then when GSP wins he should get Nate, Dan, or hey wouldn't Wandy be a BIGGGG fight. If he wins there then let him fight Anderson. Too many good fights to hype but they won't do it so I'll keep dreaming.

Has the Crow really fallen this far? Watched him last night and thought he looked fantastic. I never buy into the fact a "fighter needs to win" to keep his job. I think it is silly nonsense. You don't get tougher because you need to win. You are the same exact fighter. You need to win all of ur fights. Does it mean when u need to win that u were not trying that hard the previous fights  Just can't see Herman handling the speed, elbows and athletism unless Crow has gotten soft.

Cantwell to beat Cane at +235.
Cantwell is a very skilled youngster and Cane seems small for 205.

Looked pretty tall last time I've seen him fight or maybe he has fought a midget :mj07:
I am sure Cane will have big reach advantage on Cantwell as well . Last time I've checked Cantwell was a purple bet in BJJ and Banha was a black belt so on paper he has a solid advantage there as well .
Cantwell's biggest win was against a can aka Stann but he also got KOed by him even if it smelt like an early stoppage .
