Well here is what you have been waiting to hear.

Franklin is a square bet. Not even close to the same league Silva. And thats todays Silva.

If Franklin gets a lucky punch sure he could end it. Silva has fought 100 times better fighters. The guys a top 6 all time, maybe top 8.

I like Rich alot also. Seems like a cool guy and you have to respect his intelligence. And he's a pretty good fighter.

Silvas still a premier fighter. He either knocks you out or you better knock him out.

Sorry Rich your only a fave because of Silvas last 5 fights.

Silva wins easily, unless of course he breaks his hand.:)

wanderlei's striking is at best on par with dan's and probably a little more wild.

On par with Hendo's. Say whatttttttttttttt?

Hendo isnt even close to the striker Silva is. Never had been and never will be.

Not trying to insult you but man I hope you are only joking.

Hendos a wrestler and Silva might be the best puncher ever. Omg:director:

Dude, I haven't been around for awhile, but the last fight card I saw you talking talking and doing more talking. Please, do the board a favor and tone it down and quit being so insulting. I absolutely hate the fact that you're dishing Rich to the side and throwing all your love to Wandy.

I'm the only one on here that's allowed to throw themself at WANDY!!:mj07:

GK all that proves is that anybody can flip a coin and bet on MMA. For a guy to say Wandi is at best on par with Hendo in punching is like saying Im as pretty as Brad Pitt. Come on give me a break how do I debate a ludicrous statement. And I didnt insult him, I actually said Im not insulting you.

In MMA last fights(especially 1 punch knock outs) arent as important as match ups in style are and quality of opponents.

So it's OK to tell a guy to go F his mother and suck a fat D
as long as you preface it with "not trying to insult you"?

Oh, why I am even bothering with this....good luck I guess...keep calling those squares

I'm sure they won't do a very good buyrate on this PPV, but I'm pretty excited about the Kongo/Cain matchup
WAY more intriguing than the Herring fight would have been

Hardy/Davis should be fun while it lasts as well

Don't bother with that guy above, he's a moron. And I'm not prefacing it with "no offense, but."

Anyways, it might not, but hardcore and diehard fans who follow religiously can be thankful for this card. That Hardy/Davis matchup is going to be a war because both guys bring it 100% and we have the "fake Irishman" in Davis who wants to beat the hell out of Hardy.

Cain/Kongo winner could very well get the next title shot, or maybe the winner faces Carwin for the #1 contender slot??

And I'm always droooooling over seeing Wandy fight!! Only fighter next to Shogun who gives me goosebumps and makes me sweat before the fight starts!

Right on...I have to research this card a bit more....a few UK guys I'm not familiar with....I've seen Etim once before.

After seeing Hardy's last fight, I actually don't count him out against Davis. Pretty quick trigger on both these guys....

I agree with you BUCS, I think the winner of the heavyweight fight should fight Carwin for the #1 slot. This fight Saturday will tell us a lot about Cain. Kongo is on a nice little run.

Oh, and I agree with kegray about Cro Cop. No hunger=no bet for me. I don't trust him, especially at -450. No way !

I need to see Franklin's last bouts, but judging by his defeats to Silva, he's a B fighter at best and his chin never was there to begin with.

Huh? You are grading him "B" because he lost twice to possibly the best fighter on the planet? Yeah, he does have losses to Machida and Henderson, so that really looks bad too.

I don't get it. The guy is a solid fighter. The big question for me is how he handles fighting at a heavier weight.

GK if somebody is going to make an absolute false statement (even if it was his newbie opinion) that might influence someone then I must bring it up. And I was nice to the guy. That comment gets you beaten up at training centers.

Some of you guys might want to go to youtube and see some Silva or Hendo fights. Not in the same league.

Didnt mean to insult the guy but dont know any other way to expose such a ridiculous statement.

Im sorry muhr

Guys I think the fight is a toss up but like I said I'm leaning towards Franklin. The whole reason is the same as why you can go against Chuck right now or why QBs in the NFL start sucking. The freaking guys have concussions and at some point get ko'd easier. For Wandy it started with the CroCop kick to the head. Every since that fight he hasn't been the same. I love Wandy and he has a chance vs anyone because he can throw with the best of them but Rich will tag him. I also think Rich will be able to use his kicks to keep distance and score points.

Here's to a good fight. :mj06:

I'm excited for this card just got too much going on to purchase it at 2PM CST.

I like Marcus Davis here, just never been sold on Hardy, however, training your boxing with Roach cant hurt. Should be a war for the first round but I see Davis out lasting him.

Bucs - I was not saying Franklin didnt want to win, that would be foolish. All I was saying is he doesnt mind the fact he didnt have to go baaby sit a bunch of punks and got to get back to training. I know you are a big Wandy fan, so am I, however I think he is out matched here.

Should be a war but I'll take Franklin. Just need the line to move a little lower before I pull the trigger

This would be perfect if I could find a bar around Dallas that is ordering the fights during the day. It sounds fun getting to watch fights and getting a good day buzz

Call a HOOTERS and ask if they are showing it.
I know all Hooters in Houston show the PPV's so maybe that is a nationwide thing or maybe it is just the managers call.

Also, Franklin odds are coming down, now -140.
As are Cro Cop from -450 to -420. If you want Al-Turk then better get him now because I think these odds continue to fall before Sat.

Keg, I watched a UFC at hooters but it was at night. As a matter of fact it was one in(I think Pearland) south of Houston. I want to watch it live during the day so that might be where the it gets tough.

I don't know how anyone can watch these events at bars. I tried it 1 time and will never do it again. You get no sound and can't hear anything. A vast majority of the people are drunk and clueless. I just prefer to sit at home, watch in my own piece and quiet :)

You're not going to the right bars. Every place I go they have it too loud. When you add the fact that the place gets going with the fights and it can make for a great atmosphere. There are a few places here in Dallas where most of the guys watching are all fighters themselves so it makes it interesting.

Yeah the two times I went to local Hooters, it was blasting on the speaker system and just about every person in the place was there for the fights.
