I got a poudning headache today and stuck at work with no plays in.
I am only going with one play on this card:

Parlay:
Paul Taylor
Paul Kelly
Spencer Fisher
100 wins 156

They are all fighting pansies.

Everyone scared me off of Wandy which is fine because I was really on the fence so no play.
Weinerdog had biggest influence on me.:mj07:

Just throwing this out there fellas, do what u want. A guy who has trained with some of these fighters (another site i go to)says he and a few other fighters think this German kid Peter Sobata is a real live dog. Im gonna throw a small bet on the guy. Im a Paul Taylor fan but this Sobata guy has some real nice takedowns.

On another note is it possible that Paul Kelly can lose to this stiff he is fighting? Im gonna risk the 4 to 1. This kid has no shot.

medium on velasquez -130.....anything can happen....wait fot kongo to kick, take him down and pound his arse...any other strategy is dummkopf(trying to keep to the german theme)...

was gonna play an all mother country parlay (etim/kelly/taylor) but spongy has a point...i think taylor`s the weakest link in the chain and i know nothing about sobotta...ah,wth...very small, throwaway par at better than even money...if it dies,it`ll prolly be taylor that kills it......

i`m due for a bad mma event...that`s why i`m keepin` it tight...i have diego sanchez in quite a bit of stuff vs guida next week.......

I am going against the grain. In other words, I am getting on the Weinerdog bandwagon :
Weinderdog told me to tell you squares to enjoy losing today.

Parlay:
Silva
Hardy
40 wins 213.
Weinerdog special

Also Straight play:
Ben Saunders(+190) for 50 wins 95

After reading here and another forum I respect, I'm on Velasquez, Swick, Uno, and Hardy. Also put Sabotta last minute, Stan James still has lines up.

Bucs, you placing any wagers on this card?

Here is a clip of this German kid. Seems like he is a bit wild to me which will fit into Taylors style. tough clip to judge

http://www.vimeo.com/2761056

By the way Kick i think this is one of the better cards the UFC has ever produced. No :bed: for this one. I like watching the Taylor and Kelly kid fight. Hopefully we get to see one of them.

well for what it is worth i like Franklin small against Wandy. All this talk in here about Wandy's striking ability has me confused. I see a wild swinger who hopes to overwhelm his opponents. I think Ace will be able to land that one straight shot to finish him. Cain i can't bet because of the sheer size and improved ability of Kongo. I never saw this Saunders kid. He looks like he likes to fight and is a cool guy. Gun to my head i take Swick just because of his history. Davis? I think this other kid is in his head. He better get the kid early or he might fade. Kelly? I hope this is the same opponent i saw struggle with Juney Brown or im in deep shit here.

So how does a guy win the round based on that write up??
He gets slammed and taken down again.
Only positive is he tried a kimura from the bottom.

Based on the write ups, I got it 2-0 Story.:mj07:

Why doesn't UFC offer a way to watch prelim fights on ufc.com or something. What a waste of extra income.
Charge a couple bucks to watch on ufc.com and clean up.

Lost income, Dana.:sadwave:

Stefan Struve vs. Denis Stojnic
Round 1
Stojnic pushes Struve to the fence in search of a trip takedown. Struve gets back to the center of the Octagon and is tripped to the canvas. Stojnic stands in the guard of his opponent and lands hammerfists. From his back, Struve looks for an armbar and a kimura. Stojnic escapes and pounds away from the top. Struve looks for a triangle and is abused by more punches. Struve is hurt and bleeding. Referee Dan Miragliotta stops the action so Struve?s cut can be checked out. He?s cleared and the round ends. 10-9 Stojnic.

Round 2
Struve gets the top as the fighters wrestle for position. Stojnic gives up his back. Struve is bleeding all over his foe as he locks on a body triangle and looks for a rear-naked choke. Stojnic tries to stand up while being choked. Struve brings him back down and forces a tapout at the 2:37 mark of round one. Struve celebrates his victory under a mask of blood.
