good start...didn`t expect it to be totally one-sided....
with 3 main card fights potentially being short ones,i suspect we`ll see this one on spike...

I went back and forth on JDS and Gonzaga
but my bet has to be with the guy I know has trained specifically for his opponent, is on a roll, has the better chin, and who has KO power in both hands
If he loses on the ground so be it - I just can't see him getting beat anywhere else

Guida hasn't been subbed in the UFC , only when he was semi knocked out from the punches to give up his back .
intermission while they dragged(drug?) roberts out...he apparently was out for quite awhile.....hope he`s o.k...

Round 1 - Local boy Ludwig gets a warm welcome, as expected, while Elkins is booed. Denver supports their own. Referee Tim Mills directs the action. Ludwig patient as he fakes a few shots. Elkins moves in but catches a left hand. Elkins shoots again, and Ludwig sprawls well. Elkins persists on the takedown and finally takes Ludwig to the floor. There's something wrong with Ludwig. Elkins backs away, and Mills comes in and waves the fight off. Replays show that Luwig's left leg doubled under him as he fell to the floor, and his ankle twisted grotesquely. Ludwig is helped from the cage as the verdict is issued. Darren Elkins def. Duane Ludwig via TKO (ankle injury) - Round 1, 0:44.

Zaga gets a lot of hype for one win over a washed up Crocop. He is a lot like Vera. He goes against talent he fades.
i think the 1st fight on the main card is "the human corpse" vs sakara....
so curious to see whether that hellacious weight drop has seriously compromised irvin.....

Ended up playing under 1.5 rounds at - 117 . Lets go brawl , hopefully Irvin lays him out like he did Houston Alexander or the other way around .
