Is has been a fairly poor tournament for me so far with the exception of Allenby who looks like he should win the Top Australian group.

I am going to add a few 4th round matchups (ties lose):

Bjorn -110 vs Tway
Sutherland +105 vs Pavin
Flesch -110 vs Carter
Choi +115 vs Hart

I wasn't able to watch todays round due to work committments but based on the scoring it seems the course played much easier than Thu/Fri.

I would appreciate any thoughts or comments on how the course did play today and if anyone has info on how things might shape up tomorrow eg weather forecast and pin placements.

Centrebet has the following 4th round betting option and I am sure there is value in this market somewhere.

Woods - Under Par 1.70 Par 4.50 Over Par 3.25
Garcia - Under Par 2.15 Par 6.50 Over Par 2.00
Mickelson - Under Par 2.20 Par 5.50 Over Par 2.05
Maggert - Under Par 2.85 Par 5.50 Over Par 1.70
Allenby - Under Par 2.70 Par 5.50 Over Par 1.75
Harrington - Under Par 2.75 Par 5.50 Over Par 1.72
Faldo - Under Par 3.50 Par 6.00 Over Par 1.50
Leonard - Under Par 2.75 Par 5.50 Over Par 1.72
McCarron - Under Par 2.85 Par 5.50 Over Par 1.70
Love - Under Par 2.75 Par 5.50 Over Par 1.72

Further to the above ....

Out of the entire field 15 out of 72 players scored par in the 3rd round.
Out of the players listed 2 out of 10 players scored par in the 3rd round.

If conditions are similar this would suggest the odds for scoring par should be around 4.90 but most players are listed at 5.50 or above.

Between Green Bay and Iowa City
--------------- --------------- ---------------

"My God, I've won the Open."

--------------- --------------- ---------------

Woods looks just on form enough to be the incomparable closer of his pedigree.

Sergio can hole it all day, but I just can't see his regrips closing the deal on Tiger, even if the gap was smaller and they were playing in a cathedral.

Mickelson's closing bogey set up the textbook scenario for more holding on than cakewalking, with a live dog out in front for the well beveraged crowd, roiling some nervy exchanges behind him. And openings for others to make some noise.

Putting will likely write the story most of the way.

It couldn't happen.

Why does nobody have TIGER?????????

Why does nobody have TIGER?????????

I bet him ONLY at 2-1.

LOCK & LOAD without a doubt.

In my opinion, betting on anyone else to win without covering yourself w/ Tiger is just silly!!!

It's all Tiger!!! GRRRROWL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Disappointing event overall although Lonard winning the Top Australian helped cover some of the losing plays.

Once again Tiger Woods was just too good and another Grand Slam is looking very possible.

I was going back 3 years and never seem to fare well and fail to understand as I would think it should be easiest to cap.
As in past they throw up totals only 1st day and this year as in past plays get rocked 1st day but roll next 3 when you can't wager. Tigers 3putt on 18 was coupe de grace to put under 276 as loss. oh well----

US Open - 2 ball ties

US Open - 2 ball ties

I don't usually bet on 2-ball ties, but did anyone notice that Fasth and Mediate had the same score each of the first three days 72 72 74....and yeh, you guessed it - both had 76s in the last round when paired together.
A nice 8/1 earner, too bad I doubled it up :nono:
