In a tournament like this, its pretty awesome to make it to the second day. Alot of players already gone now.

Day 2, good cards, good luck.

Yeah whatever Bobby, my best friend had a death in the family.

Shit hsppens, Im not happy about it but had to takr him out.

Im snokkered and will let you know what up with Jackson tomorrow.

Had a good long talk with him tonight, and he was in a great frame of mind..

Nolan Dalla hauled ESPN over to interview Jack about having his Dad with him. He said he won a pot while the camera was on him :com: Should be on TV!!

He also lost a big pot with AQ suited be4 break, lost 3,200!! AQ seems to be his black cat hand....He has a weirdo at his table, guy made i 600 under the gun with 10-8 and flop came 8-9-10!! Jackson had called with AJ suited, and turned a st8! Guy melted off like 2,500 after that..

C you tomotrrw boys!

Typical understanding a**hole bobby :nono:

Good Luck Jack, you'll come back after some sleep and the cards hopefully get better.

The Nevada Gaming Convention came down hard on the players and online companies twenty minutes before the main event was scheduled to start. They would not permit anyone to wear something that said "dot com" on it. So players and marketing reps went scrambling for black tape or new shrits or hats. Most guys simply turned their shirts inside out.

See picture below, they used tape to cover up

Ok guys, just had a good talk with Jack..

He played some great poker last night! He actually had his stack up over 40,000 at one point, when he had 77 and made a small raise from the button. The blinds called, and the flop was 5-6-7 :com: they checked it to Jack who made a stab and they both called, turn card was a 4 kurby everyone checked, and the river was a 5 for a board of 5-6-7-4-5 dance2 giving Jack 7s full. Now the BB bets 4,000 :sadwave: Jack went into the trap routine, thought forever and raised it to 8,000....the other guy thought for a while and then went all in and Jack called him instantly and doubled up when the guy showed 44 giving him 4s full :142smilie Very next hand he had KK and flopped a set but a bad board of A-K-J-?-10 slowed him way down even though he won the hand..

Shortly after all of this and streaking like a mad man...Jack caught JQ of diamonds and flopped an open ended str8 flush draw, but ended up losing 10,000 when nothing came  How can you miss that hand?

Anyway he then got moved it sounds like, and he had a very aggressive player (asian guy go figure) at his table and it also sounds like he got tired. After all they played from Noon till 3am. Anyway, the black cat AQ struck AGAIN and AGAIN  Jack assured me next time he gets AQ it will be in the muck...that was the hand that knocked him out last year.

Anyway, Jack was back down to like 30,000 and popped it up to like 1600 with blinds of 200-400, the AAG (agressive asian guy) went all in from the small blind and had Jack covered...Jack folded. Then 10 minutes be4 the night is over and Jack having resigned himself to having just under 30,000 and having hit his goal for the day and wasnt planning on playing any hands (5 more). Well he picks up AQ suited in middle position and stabs 800 at the blinds, he gets reraised to like 2500 and calls...flop is Q-9-? :com: AAG bets 4,000 and Jack just called, the turn is a blank, and the guy bets 5,000, Jack calls again.....river is a 9, the guy checks (?) so does Jack, and the guy flips over J9  What a ridiculous hand, and nice check by that clown on the river??? Glad he did though otherwise Jack could be in worse shape.... Thats where I think that tourney is so tough, 15 hours is A BUNCH of poker and fatigue kicks in.

MJ was pretty upbeat, is going to run around with the wife for a day or two but that last hand is really bothering him.The bitch is he has to sit on that fu*ker for 4 days!!!! He already has his seat assignment and table for Tuesday, and they gave him some sort of chart showing the chip stacks at his table. No real monster stacks, so he was pretty happy with his chances to get going again on Tuesday..

For MadJack sports, this is Agent 0659 signing off...

Damn 12K on the last hand was a killer. Would love for him to be above 30K going in to Day 2.

Not sure how clear one of my previous posts was about the ESPN interview.

Jack talked to Nolan Dalla who is I believe the media director (?) for the WSOP, and told him he had his Dad with him (ashes). Nolan said "this is a story", and went and grabbed a camera crew and they filmed MJ for about 10 minutes, and he even won a pot during that time. They also stated they wanted to interview him about it, but as far as I know that didnt happen. You know Jack, he likes to hold stuff like that, then let it come out months from now :mj07: Cool move by Nolan, hope he gets some air time.

Thanks everyone (IE, Terry, Agent) for the continual updates. Glad to see Jack still hanging in there. Only worry is letting that last hand go and continue to play well with the remaining stack. You deserve this bro!

Well, not a good chip count but guaranteed final 3200. I could never last 15 hours without a Dell Dude style all in blowup. That doesn't just take patience, that takes fukkin stamina.
