Good one Betone.

I should just have just agreed with you as that is what you were looking for...ohhh, that WalMart is terrible!

You should be proud as at a very, very young age, your son has risen to the ranks of a manager at WalMart. I hope this is a foundational step in a career where he can rise to a position where he can make his own hours and enjoy his Thanksgiving with the family...except for the time you take away from your loved ones to post your inner-most thoughts.

I seriously doubt Betone was looking for anyone to agree with him. Nick at least had some class with his reply, and didn't insult the guy.

Betone,

You know that I wish only the very best for you and your family.

All I know is that I get more food for my family for MUCH less money at Walmart.

We don't have a Costco but I do look for deals and shop at Aldi's and Sam's Club.

I spend a few more dollars at local butchers and bakers because I feel that certain items are worth the extra money.

But day to day eggs, milk, produce and the rest of regular groceries are FAR less expensive in GB/Appleton's Walmarts. I'd be dumb to NOT shop there.

My son works in management for Walmart and he is scheduled to work 2pm to Midnight today. Just another reason as to why I hate Walmart. :0003

I once complained about having to work thanksgiving, christmas, and new years.... and my first sergeant told me to get the sand out of my clit. Recommend you do the same

:)

I understand, and as a consumer I expect that you would pocket. :0008

I know not everyone here is old enough to remember, but there was actually a time when EVERY business was closed on holidays.

If you forgot to gas up your car, or pick up milk, and it was Thanksgiving or Christmas, etc........You were shit outta luck!

Walmart was never doing this ridiculous sale on Thanksgiving a few years back, so I would think it's fair for employees to gripe about it. I believe that's all Betone is trying to say, too.
