2009 record 14-5 +30.11units

Faber -110 1unit

Wanted it for 2 or 3 units but the talk around here has taken the wind out of my sails

I think Faber's quickness is going to be the difference tonight.

a tough fight to call,no doubt....looking at record and some video,it`s speed vs power...

brown`s been beaten 4 times...by immanari in japan(a flying kneelock...check it out on youtube...brown was winning...kept taking immanari down...the japanese ref kept standing them up...it was a freakish sub...an amazing move, though, highlight reel stuff).....
he lost via sub to genki sudo in japan(armbar)...hermes franca(triangle choke)...and a sub to joe lauzon(couldn`t get a line on this one...don`t know how he subbed brown)...

seems like all of brown`s losses have been via joint manipulation subs with one coming by franca off the bottom...

all of faber`s subs have come from guillotine or rear naked chokes.....i can see faber maybe guillotine choking brown from the bottom....but i doubt that he can rear nakes choke a fresh brown...his wrestling is just too good..too strong...

faber has to out quick brown..brown`s never been k.o.`ed...but he`s never been in with as quick a guy as faber...

i think that homefield is huge...and that faber will get off to a quick start...as long as he`s fresh, his speed will give brown problems....in the first go round(as short as it was) you could see faber`s speed was a problem for brown...`

but if brown takes faber down,he`s gonna have a probelm....i`m sure that`s what brown will try and do....

tough to call....

I'm quite green to this, but i think Faber's chin is kind of shaky, so i took the Brown by ko option...(+350), quite small...

i hope you`re right...btw,those odds were around -175 a day or so ago....

did you play this previously or today?....

thanks...

today.. about an hour ago

odds suck, but i think Grispi should be no better than -300 against Pulver, who has little fight left in him...

Grispi is a pretty long fellow and wrestling is the only skill he lacks, which i dont think will be an issue against the Jens Pulver of today.

i think gamburyan`s fighting for his career right here....

how the hell did 5`5" manny k.o. 6`1" jorge santiago(currently on a 9 fight winning streak)?....

apparently anything can happen(and does)...
