One play from day 3 is pending, update day's record (good for a change) later. One fell my way yesterday, as strange as I lost those other heartbreakers before. Kulikova lost first set 0-6 but won the game in 3...

Although you guys prove me wrong on a daily basis, I think it's way harder to hit (big) dogs in men's grand slam events. Maybe the best of three modus balances out class and skill and favourites find a way to prevail. In the end it somewhat comes back to numbers after all.

As a consequence, being a dog bettor, I will treat the men's competition lightly in first rounds of those tournaments.
