The coin for dentists. Everyone is cashing in on the blockchain hype now.

You do know the joke about dentists in the investment world right. Once it gets down to dentist money the investment is pretty much tapped out. Hope that's not the case.

Woodson want to sell me some BTC for a premium mr cryptomeybags?

Yeah, we're at the same step. I already have the BTC sitting at blockchain so all I'm looking to do is take my positions and storing the fuckers. I'll keep you posted. I'm not in any hurry because I feel the $1400 I have sitting at Poloniex is safe enough for now.

Woodson, help the mere peons like myself understand.

If you hit a point where you could convert to USD and sell and retire, why would you not do so? Say your number is 5M. If you could clear that today USD and never work again unless it was for fun, why would you not sell?

The only reason I can see is that you can foresee a complete destruction of the US Dollar. But honestly if that happens, there are going to be way bigger issues.

So of the following:

Complete Collapse of USD

Cybercurrency bubble bursts and is devalued

Do you really think the first is more likely than the second? I'm trying to understand the long hold position vs. just cashing out and enjoying life debt free.

Finally was able to purchase Bitcoin from Coinbase then transferred it to Poloniex and purchased DGB. What wallet do you recommend I transfer the DGB to? Thanks

Saint I can explain this...

1. No the USD will not collapse...EVER

2. Cryptocurrency is in it's infancy. I admit I never believed BitCoin would flourish and become what it has...That was the beginning. We now have alt-cryptocurrency in their infancy. Sure some won't be around in a few years but this is why you take the risk on a Stratis because of the developers and the potential. The easiest way to look at this sector is simply this. How did you look at AOL when they were having major outages in the early 90's and people couldn't connect via dial up modem due to busy signals ? The stock was $3 and rumor was they were done couldn't build an infrastructure to support their business...Amazon was a book store no way they would ever make it...eBay sold pez dispensers...Google was just a search engine. Cryptocurrency is here to stay and it's the very beginning so invest in solid ideas with the highest potential. I do believe that some of these are mere hype plays like any OTCBB stock and has huge risk but at the end of the day...I had a chance to buy bitcoin in the beginning and stayed away. This round I will take the risk and only invest in a select few. As far as cashing out say the $5 million. When the time comes it will be a process to cash out that may take weeks maybe months who knows but I want in on the ride.

***The biggest PLUS I see is these coins/tokens are traded worldwide 24/7.***

Also you ask about holding long/vs cashing out...Imagine if you had invested $10,000 in bitcoin at $1 and cashed out @ $5 million ($500 a share). Nothing like leaving $20 million on the table. Everyone has their goals and you should write it down and be prepared to stick to it.

Remember also this isn't a stock that will keep splitting for dilution. This stuff is held in sealed hands...BIG SEALED HANDS.

Or can we just leave it on Poloniex?

You can leave it there but not as secure as your wallet on your PC or a hardware wallet. There are many but here's a simple one as an example.

Coinbase is a little rough, I accidentally left 1 number off my routing #, now it says I have exceeded my limit of adding my bank info and I need to wait 24 hours before I can try it again. How about waiting one hour or giving at least 3 tries.

Question on the digibyte wallet - is that something that you don't want stored on your computer? I'm installing it now and I have it on my computer, but if it shouldn't be there is it easy to move? It seems to be taking quite awhile just for the initial sync

Just used an Athena Bitcoin ATM to deposit cash into my poloniex account...

Unfortunately for the convenience I paid a 11.3% fee but I guess you have to pay for it one way or another.

At the end of the day a couple of hundred here and there should be nothing if I am looking for 6 figure gains in the future.

It was so simple to download the app- go to the ATM - insert my cash - scan the QR on my phone - the called me to confirm the transaction as it was my first with them. Should have the bitcoin my poloniex in 15 more mins.

May just be the way to go...

IF you just took a dip in an alt coin like Stratis. That's big daddy BTC flexing. Don't worry the alts correct so hold and don't panic sell.

It IS the PERFECT time to buy alts. Instant gains on bloody days.

I think Coinbase is 3.5 - 4.5%. You just have to provide all your info and do a micro purchase validation with debit card.

ATM is not a bad choice though.
