Favorite? I haven't been many places so I's have to say San Antonio TX and Disney World. (Haven't taken the kids yet though) Hoping to add Jamaica to the favorites list in December.

Least Favorite? Don't really have any since I haven't really been anywhere.

Things are great, no complaints. Tomorrow will be the two year anniversary of my big move down here. It was the right decision!

Pug good to hear that your relocation is working out. I used to check your wife's blog, is she still doing it ? I lost the link to it & was wondering if you could post it, if not get my email from Jack. I really enjoyed the adventures of your life down in Costa Rica. Thanks !

My guess is no body here can afford to stay here so some will get pissed off.. Travel is extremely expensive if u do the hotel thing..........The Vrbos Homeaways get prices down but the best way is to go wherever u want and get the prices locals pay and u can stay for months at a time. In Puerto Rico i found a locals place on the ocean for $500/ month 3 month min. Its basic..furnished and has everything.bring or buy linens and towels . Sometimes u have to pay to get Direct TV. Last time i had to get a signal over a mountain and it cost $150 to install.

The first time i went i got a place a block from the ocean paid $1350 for the month in Isla Verde near the RITZ CARLTON so i had the use of all their facilities .. Rates there run bout $700/ night if i recall... It was old refurbished condos. The locals that lived there paid $500/ month. The secret to travel is to stay a month or more. My buddies wife's friend owns a Villa in Northern Italy and rents a studio for $400/ mo. Thailand $500/mo and many places in Asia $500/ mo gets a nice place . Same in eastern europe .

She doesn't post on there as frequently as she used to. To really keep up with us, it's better to add her or I on Facebook.

I live just outside of Jaco. The new Crocs casino is two miles from my house. If you remember, 1vice had a contest last year to win a vacation to Crocs. Crocs does not have a sportsbook though. Also in town is the world famous Cocal Hotel and casino, which is better known for other things, lol. Cocal hotel does have a small sportsbook but it's only open 3 hours a day. If you are in town and want to gamble on sports, I can hook you up with a local. We also have two other casinos in town but they are pretty much just slots. You can get US steaks here but they are expensive as the meat is imported. I don't think we have any German restaurants here in Jaco. There are a couple of places that serve a few Indian dishes. Pizza is a big deal here as Costa Ricans are crazy about it. We have Italian restaurants too. Jaco is on the ocean, so fresh fish is plentiful and cheap. Our one Chinese restaurant just closed but I heard another one is opening soon. There migh be a Cadillac dealership in San Jose. There are no car dealerships in Jaco at all. However, you wouldn't want to drive a Cadillac here. People here with money drive nice SUV's.

My brother lives in Green Bay. I visited him a few years back in late June. It never got above 65 degrees the whole time I was there. Here in Jaco we never had a high below 79 degrees in 2015. Not really sure what lobster costs here. I know friends that have had it here and say it's cheaper than in the US.
