Thanks Crook.

Spal Pk -110 - This is the surprise team of the year in Serie A as they barely survived last year. This year at home they have been a money making machine. The lines have finally caught up with them and they had a bad game on the road last time out, but I am sticking with them at home until they lose. Just a small play.

St. Etienne Even - Maybe I am getting sucked into this one, but Monaco has been really bad lately and I will continue to play against them until they show any signs of life. Worse teams have gotten the better of them lately in Monaco. I will gladly take this at even money.

Adding

Bayern -1.5 -115 - This line seems a little out of whack so I am going with it. You would think with Hertha's start and them playing at home that this line would be no worse than -1. I am not a believer in Hertha though. They have a hard time scoring and I do not think they will be able to hold off Bayern. I have been hesitant with Bayern this year also as I do not like the fact that they have not improved their team much and are sticking with the same old lineup that will work in Germany but not at the elite level of CL. However, Bayern is coming off a disappointing home draw where they made a few lineup changes to rest a few players. I think they come back today with their best lineup and shut Hertha down 2 or 3 to nil. Key will be for them to get that first goal and hopefully early.

I was certainly wrong about Bayern today, but right about what I think about them overall. They are simply not as good as they used to be. Older and slower. Sure, they will win the Bundesliga but they are fading on the global level and not as elite as they used to be. They have to buy a couple young players or they are going no where.

Got what we expected from Monaco, they are in trouble.

My favorite play for tomorrow:

Juventus -125 - Love this number at home, Napoli is not as good as they were last year and Juve will want to prove they are still the best. Ronaldo is rested. Maybe we get a great effort from Napoli, but I think Juventus will get the first one and hold on.

Premier

West Ham +.5 Ev - see no reason to trust Man U on the road at this number. West Ham is playing better and they will be fired up tomorrow.

Wolverhampton -130 - line tells me a lot here. I have been against Southhampton all year and do not think they are very good, but still surprised to see the Wolves laying this kind of number, so I will tag along.

Germany

Schalke -150 -how is a winless team in bad form laying this kind of number? I don't know but I am going with it. Absolutely must win game for them or they are in serious trouble.

Leverkusen Pk +105/+175 - I expect a lot of people to like Dortmund after thrashing Nurnberg, but I think Leverkusen could start turning it around. They have a very talented and experienced team, but have just underperformed. I just have a feeling they turn it around against a Dortmund team that does not play great on the road.

There is a lot more I kind of like and are still looking at but need to limit the plays. Will likely parlay the Ajax and PSV overs. Still not sure why Watford is getting no respect at Arsenal but that line is keeping me away. Hoffenheim should win at home against Leipzig but worried the schedule will catch up with them. Atletico +5 is tempting but have to think Real shows up for this one.

Love all your plays, Bason, except I feel United is the play over Ham after they crapped their pants in the cup game w Derby. Mourinho's antics are beginning to wear thin I expect, and he'll be after a win at all costs. Absolutely on Schalke with that line, boy do they need to come up for air. What the hell is happening with them?

I worry about a player revolt with Mourinho. I think they are sick of him and want him to get fired. Not exactly sure what is going on with Schalke, but the fan base as well as management gave Tedesco a vote of confidence this week, but I think that will end fast if he does not win this week. Mainz is not very good and a win this week gets them on track as much of the Bundesliga is very average. Will be very surprised if they lose this one.

BM

lately i have been thinking about "anti bounce back"-angle. if team screws up one game these millionaires have zero interest to try harder, they win next game with same lame effort and if not, like they care.

looks like i have good spot to test this angle :SIB

saturday thoughts:

Chelsea -? +183

Bordeaux -? +242

Sittard +1? +141 & -? +1000

Juventus -1 +182
AS Roma/Lazio DRAW +266

Atletico Bilbao +2? -117 & -? 1881
Atletico Madrid +? -116 & -? +262

easy betting, nothing really stands out except Juve mentioned by Bason.
-109 line scares enough not going all in with that...

Part of me hopes he does so we can keep making $$$ off of him, but he needs to go. Rarely makes it through year 3 anywhere he goes. Great way to start the day!!

Thanks Vig!

Big day for me. Leverkusen shit the bed but Dortmund was a strong halftime play being down 2-0. Got greedy with Juve and added at the half so that was a huge game for me.

I have Cardiff tomorrow to finish off a large parlay, so I am going to bank my winnings from today and pray that Cardiff can actually win a game. Was a long shot parlay, but I hit the other 3 so it is a big payoff. See no reason to press my luck. Nothing really stands out anyway.

Will start focusing on Champions league.

not a winning day but Ajax was only team that won (-600 or so vs Sittard) Bilbao almost won +1881...
Real Madrid, Barcelona, Liverpool and Reims all draws.

using same angle today with some other leagues... :

Marseille -? +140
Atalanta -? +220
LASK Linz -? -110
Oostende -? +320
Gent -? +170

these just for as an experiment and idea, small plays

i rarely play O's but here you go

Sassuolo-AC Milan
O2? -125
1st half O1? +162

This was a brilliant post, and you were actually very unlucky with Leverkusen IMHO, two very late goals. Congrats.

MU are in real trouble, and not to totally defend JM but Pogba has to be a nightmare to manage....how can he look like the best player in the world in one match then totally disappear in the next? THAT is on him, not JM.

Thanks.

I am sure Pogba is no picnic, but Mourinho is just an arrogant ass. He just thinks he is smarter than everyone else even when his team is not performing.

Freaking Cardiff has many chances in the FH and of course Atkinson missed another handball for a penalty which would have changed the whole game. He is one of the worst officials in Europe. Misses game changing calls almost every game. Now Burnley just scored. Both these teams totally suck, but that one likely just cost me some serious money.

yeah, sorry for you on this one. Martin Atkinson has a terrible reputation in England. Funny really, he couldn't make it onto the list of FIFA refs for the WC (no English ref did!), and some of those refs were simply laughable.

The big problem for all teams newly promoted into the PL is scoring goals. Cardiff and Fulham have only scored 4 goals in 7 games each, Wolves are doing better with 8 from 7, but they were clearly a better team.

Cardiff has zero chance of staying up. We will not see them after this year for a long time. I think they are middle of the pack for the Championship this year. They are not a good team.
