I added a small FH Ov 1.5 -120 play on the Barcelona game.

I will watch overnight line movements to see where I may add.

Galatasaray -110 - Those that follow know I like Turkish teams at home. Here we get a very strong home side against a team that is struggling. Lokomotiv sit in 9th place in Russia and I do not see them getting better tomorrow. This is the most wide open group of them all and I think Galatasaray have a very good chance to advance. To do so, they must win this game. We get the better team at home and another short price. I like this almost as much as Shakhtar.

Porto Pk Even - Porto is the favorite to win this weak group. They are stalwarts in the CL and very experienced and successful in the group stages. While they are not typically a favorite road play for me, Schalke has simply been bad to start the season. They have started 0-3 and frankly have not looked good at all. Now they get a team that is a step up in class from who they have been playing. Again, I definitely think Schalke and Hoffenheim struggle in the CL. Taking the Pk just to be conservative but I think Porto should win this one.

Atletico and Dortmund are tempting on the road tomorrow, but for now, I am laying off. Many strong teams can struggle on the road in this format and rely on their home form to move on. Monaco has not been good at all to start the season and they simply look like a lesser team after selling so many good players. Atletico sometimes though simply looks disinterested on the road. Brugge has been bad in the CL, but I simply do not trust Dortmund on the road. The coach keeps playing with the lineups and its driving me nuts. I have to see the lineup before considering a play on them.

I have placed all the bets above at the numbers posted since I am comfortable with them.

Big day , good luck I am riding on most of these.

Thanks Crook! I am expecting a good week.

Like the line move in Galatasaray the best this morning, now up to -135. I am adding to it. Surprised the Liverpool Over actually went down, so not adding. Porto moved a little to Schalke but I expected that.

Putting in a couple Euro games for Thursday now since I really like the lines I can get today:

Genk Ov 2.5 -140 - Have no idea why this line is 2.5, should be Over 3 minus money. Just look at the stats for both teams. They both score, especially Genk at home. Will be shocked if this is not 3 once people start betting. Really like it at 2.5.

Ludogorets +.5 -150 - I could be wrong about this move, but I really do not care about the juice as I want the half. As most of you know, this is a favorite of mine to bet at home. Leverkusen are struggling to start the season but they have the roster to turn it around. I am not so sure how motivated they are for this one though. Ludogorets took care of Hoffenheim in this competition last year so they will be confident they can get the win here. I probably would still bet this at +220, but I will gladly grab the +.5 here with the home side.

Leipzig -120 (Red Bull Derby!! and they say draws are not fixed) and Larnaca Ev (home studs) are also shaping up to be good size plays Thursday. Hopefully I have plenty of winnings to play on them. I will definitely be on both, especially Larnaca, but waiting to see how I do in CL before I actually make the plays.

Man, Barca has been sleep walking through this game (and of course as I am writing they scored 2 goals!). Have no idea what PSV is doing.

The line move in the Liverpool total has me baffled. Not sure why we are seeing all this under money but it certainly has me concerned. I still think we see at least 3, but I made a large bet on this one so I am buying a little back and making a small play on Liverpool +120.

I do love watching Champions League games.

No biggie adding Liverpool and taking some Over money off the table, so ended up winning my two big bets and pushed on Porto. Of course they missed a penalty but the penalty they got to tie it looked like complete bs, so it was a wash. I still hate Casillas. He needs to retire. He screwed up on Schalke's goal.

Overall, was a very good day all around as it look like Kid crushed it also with that late Dortmund goal (which also was big for me as it completed a nice accumulator!)

Already hit Shakhtar hard and will have a couple more up shortly.

Knowing I have some winnings already, this Europe game for Thursday been placed:

Larnaca -105 - For now, all I will say is that this team has only lost 1 of its last 34 home matches. They are studs at home and they are facing Zurich who is average at best. This line should be at least -140 and I expect it to keep rising but they appeared to be very undervalued to me.

If you have not already bet Genk Ov, I would check your sites and see if you can still get 2.5. It already moved to 3 at my site.

Rest of CL for tomorrow

Ajax Ov 2.5 -130 - I have been very impressed with Ajax especially at home. They have many good young players that like to attack. They completely dominated Kiev last round and have been great to start the League. I think they will struggle against top teams but Athens is not a top team. Athens can score and I expect them to get one here, but we should get at least 2 from Ajax. They know they have to win this one. May consider FH Over also as I expect Ajax to come out fast.

Juventus -120 - I do not love taking these road teams (Napoli, Spurs and Dortmund all struggled today), but Juventus got Ronaldo for the Champions League. That is the sole reason they got him. Think they will want to make a statement and you have the fact that Messi got a hat trick today. Ronaldo always seems to respond to that plus he knows Valencia. You have the added plus that Valencia has not been good at all and has yet to win a game in La Liga. Tough task to step it up against Juventus. I think they will play well (just like Schalke was better today) but Juventus will win.

If you want to have some fun, tie Ajax/Man U/City/Bayern/Real together. All the top teams won today and I hit one today, so I will likely play this or something very similar tomorrow.

I think Man U will win and is likely a good bet, but they are simply one of those teams I always seem to get wrong. Kid is right with them more often than I am. They are a much better team than Young Boys and should easily win, but for me, there are simply better bets out there.

I will have them in a parlay/accumulator or two and will definitely look at them in case the FH is a draw. Many games where I may like the road team but do not want to lay the juice I will wait until halftime and hope for a FH draw. The better teams tend to wear out the weaker ones and take it in the second half. I just do not post halftime bets as there is little time so it is tough to share and I do not like talking about winners that most can not share in. I tend to also play second half Overs when I like the game Over and the FH was low scoring. Barca was a perfect example today. I played the FH Ov and lost, but then came back with the SH over. Halftime betting is a big advantage to gamblers in my opinion in soccer and football, but you have to have the time to watch games and be reactive. I know for many it is tough during the week, but it is am important piece of soccer handicapping. Of course it is much easier when you are semi-retired.

Sorry, probably much more than you wanted!

No, No, this is great. I appreciate the info. I have always dabbled into the Euros, and WorldCup, but this is the first time I have been locked in on club soccer, and I love it. Strategy and insights like the one above help out big time as I get more familiar in this space. While the soccer forum gets a small fraction of the views that some of the other forums on this site receive, I think the info yourself and Kid share over here is top notch, and some of the best that Madjacks has to offer! Good luck today on your plays, and for what it is worth I did play Man U :SIB

Thanks Crook. There is definitely a small but dedicated crowd here, but honestly, I like it because it is friendly and no real negativity. I have posted in other larger forums and just got sick of the negativity. You win 5 in a row and your great, you lose 3 in a row and you lost them their mortgage payments and are now an a-hole. I used to have an email distribution also but more or less quit that for the same reasons. I enjoy sharing information with those who want it and if it helps a few people great. I know there are many that have got turned onto betting soccer based on the posts in here, so that is enough for me!!

Good luck!

Bayern M?nchen -? 1st half +105

Real Madrid -? 1st half -150 x 2

Juventus -? 1st half +163 & FT -? +100

1st halfs are always a bit questionable to bet on, but Benfica has played mostly bottom side teams and Valencia is yet to win LL match. Roma is their own joke specially away in euro matches.

BM x RM x Juve = +276 x 2 (full time)

Nothing looking good at all today. Shakhtar is absolutely horrible defensively and their goalie completely sucks. See no way they win this game, but I may bet the over in the second half as there should be more goals here. Need to try to salvage something out of this one. Ajax and Athens both look like they do not belong in the CL. Terrible game and will stay that way unless Ajax can break through.

I can not begin to tell you how much I hate Ronaldo. He is such a selfish prick, I do not care how much talent he has or how many goals he scores. He is a first class a-hole!

nice day yesterday, wednesday plays:

Bate to win +200

they should be league above home team (that plays in neutral field) and decent change to qualify from this group. PAOK is their main opponent but they need win here = draw and BATE is very probably out without winning PAOK twice.

Arsenal fields their summer signing goalie Bernd Leno first time. Goalie/defence co-operation has been shaky even with Cech and Arsenal should win this with ease.... so
BTTS +159
BTTS 1st half YES +634

i see value on U2? +210 too, might be 2-0 game...

just for odds:
Bordeaux -? +300
Malm? FF +? +140 & -? +525

Soccer gods were smiling on you yesterday Snafu!

Decent day for me, but one more Shakhtar goal and it would have been huge.

I agree on Bate, not something I posted, but I like and played them in a Pk Even.

I already have these in:

Genk Ov 2.5 -140 (still would play at 3)
Larnaca Ev
Ludogorets +.5 -150 (still would play in a PK)

Leipzig Ev - Red Bull Derby!! I waited and got this at even this morning. Not sure why money is coming in on Salzburg. They are not a very good road team and Leipzig is strong at home. I am sure Salzburg thinks they have something to prove here, but they still have to be disappointed after choking in CL once again. Not sure Leipzig is thrilled to be playing here either, but I do not think they want to lose this match. Lots being made of this one in Germany, so a Leipzig loss would be big news and embarrassing. Maybe a draw, but I think they will both win at home so I am happy to take Even money.

Tempted to make many other plays but will not. For the degenerates out there F91 Dudelange is an interesting story. From Lux and nobody expected them to get this far and now they play AC Milan. This team has been winning as huge dogs. On paper they have no chance at all today but I am throwing a couple bucks on them +1010. Likely just making a donation, but what the hell!
