marine, there are 34 book reviews, 32 give it 5stars ... these are joe public, if they had guts enough to review it in newspapers maybe we could see some more erudite versions, but until then whats our option ...

I watched National Geographic special 'Inside 9/11: Zero Hour" last night.
They show a clip from a security camera, i think it was in an open parking lot, showing United 77 slamming into the Pentagon.
I know, CGI, etc... but it was NOT a missle or small plane. It was definitely a commercial airliner.
also, they talked about the impact in WTC blew the 'fire-proofing' off the steel beams, and jet-fuel burning got temperatures above 2,000 degrees.
Who would have set the bombs, are theorists thinking they were already there.
Did firemen climb ABOVE the 85th to 91st floors of destruction to set bombs to implode roof of building to 'pancake' building down.
They 'obviously' said to hell with fellow-firemen, police, civilian, whom died in the falling towers.

Blast expert Allyn E. Kilsheimer was the first structural engineer to arrive at the Pentagon after the crash and helped coordinate the emergency response. "It was absolutely a plane, and I'll tell you why," says Kilsheimer, CEO of KCE Structural Engineers PC, Washington, D.C. "I saw the marks of the plane wing on the face of the building. I picked up parts of the plane with the airline markings on them. I held in my hand the tail section of the plane, and I found the black box." The plane was hijacked, and Hanjour was given the controls to pilot the plane into the Pentagon at 9:37 A.M. Hanjour obtained a commercial pilot's certificate in 1999 and according to the chief instructor, "Despite Hanjour's poor reviews, he did have some ability as a pilot." and "There's no doubt in my mind that once that (hijacked jet) got going, he could have pointed that plane at a building and hit it," he said.

yyz, smurphy and the others you are correct and it was an idiotic post. I let my anger and grief and Miller Lite get the best of me. I don't think it is a singular incident but certainly a rarity and I apologize to all, even though I thought I did that at the end of the post. Plus, the poll is ridiculous and maybe I would win I don't know but I don't truthfully want to see anyone have to leave. Some people here know me and the rest don't and I can assure you that that ridiculous rant is out of character, unless of course I am doing it in jest. This, however, was not the case. Inconsistencies do not prove guilt. As far as O.J. being innocent, yes I do believe the jurors gave the correct verdict, I hope your jurors are as smart in your treason trial someday.

ptguard, I quoted the Chief Instructor. You quoted "staff members". Maybe he was terrible taking off and landing, but apparently, he was plenty good enough to crash land. Don't see how this proves anything but that he could have done it.:shrug: He also at one time in 1999 PASSED his exam. I don't think those are just given out. He had to have some merit. Even a .189 batter gets 3 hits in a game sometimes.

Every major disaster has a conspiracy theory behind it. Its not hard to start one. If someone took a few hours, they could come up with a conspiracy and all sorts of connections that would prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that Colonel Sanders is not only still alive but was really behind 9/11. And, if they believed in it, you would ever, ever convince them that they were wrong.
