Hi Bason,

Thanks for posting that teaser. I know it did not work out with Florida, sorry for that, but I too play a lot of teasers or ml parlays.

You say that you do not post a lot of teasers in college but do play a lot of them with a lot of success. Please post more of them because you are very football knowledgeable and give a lot of good information. No need to debate the value of teasers or ml parlays, the lines are so sharp these days and information so available that those type of bets allow you to use the books against themselves. They realize this in the way they are adjusting.

Keep posting and thanks! :0008

Nothing to say about BC except sorry. Every once in a while you are just wrong and I certainly missed the boat on that one.

Yanno, I am thinking that I will start posting the teams that I am using in teasers rather than posting the actual plays. I think this is a good middle ground. I tend not to use the straight picks in the teasers just in case I am really off like last night with BC, because that would have blown any teaser. I also will use 10, 13, 14, or in rare cases, 17 pointers, depending on the week and the numbers (a 10 team 13 pointer saved my day yesterday).

Some wild lines this week to dig into.

Pitt -3.5? Begging you to bet Clemson

Iowa State +7? Begging you to take Ok State

Wisconsin -3 at Purdue?

Minnesota -5 at home against MD?

Going to have to do some work this week as there are some interesting match ups. Already tempted to be Minnesota heavy as I think MD is done.

First play in:

Army +3.5 -127

Was hoping this would inch back up, but I am taking it now. I am not buying the Wake hype and I think this is a tough out of conference spot for them against a good team. They give up a lot of yards against the run and I think Army will play just enough defense to win this game.

Another in:

Alabama -14 -127 FH

I think Bama is going to beat TN bad. TN has been better than I thought but they are off a tough home game and now have to go to Bama to play a team that has to impress more than usual. Bama has been getting off to big leads and I think they come out strong in this one and put TN away for the 15th time in a row. Just do not see TN putting up a lot of points in this one.

I decided to lay off the MD game. Too many uncertainties with them coming off the bye week. I do not think Minnesota is that good but I expect them to play well at home. MD will go as little Tua goes and not sure he can be trusted on the road with key receivers out. My guess is the MD defense will keep them in the game and it will be up to the offense to win it. Little surprised the line actually came down. With Michigan, Michigan State and Penn State coming up on the schedule this is almost a must win game for MD if they are going to get into a bowl game which I think is important for Locksley and the program.

All I can think about watching this Army game is how bad Wisconsin's offense really is. Have to throw Purdue +3.5 in a couple plays.

Also, love seeing Oklahoma lay an egg and prove once again how overrated they are. That is one team that was not prepared to play. Like the fight in our Navy boys as well. Cincy thought they were going to walk all over them.

I was going to take this week off, which is what I usually do in all sports if I get a little off in my thinking, but I am very very tempted to take Florida State +10.5. Clemson's offense is just terrible.

Playing only one game today:

Iowa +3.5 -127

I simply think they are the better team. I do not see Wisconsin doing anything on offense.

Changed my mind once again. Adding one more:

Cincinnati TT Ov 44.5

I expect them to blow over this total against an outmanned Tulane team.

A few that I have already played:

Oregon +3 -118 - Have to bet this on principle. They get blown out and now only a three point dog. I'll take the points but I think they win outright.

Kent State -3 - Too much offense

Houston Ov 53 - I think Houston will give Cincy all they can handle and I think this game will get into the 60's.

I will likely add a ML par with some of the other games (Pitt, OK St, SD St). Will post when I play it.

On the surface GA looks very appealing as Bama looked horrible on offense last week, but I just do not trust their offense at all. Have no doubts Bama will struggle against their defense but not sure how well the Georgia offense will move the ball. Plus, the conspiracy theorist in me sees Bama winning so the SEC gets two teams in the playoff. I may even play Bama if I get more than a td. Do not have a lot of rules in betting but I do not bet against Brady in the playoffs or Saban in a big game.

Surprised Turgeon resigned today? I missed the Gary Williams era in the ACC. There were some great games.

A little, only the timing was surprising. The pressure from the alumni was overwhelming. You know I am not a Turgeon fan from my posts. He is a good man and can coach, but he is not a top tier coach. He still coaches like he is at a mid major while he has great talent. His defense is awesome, but you can not be defense first 100% of the time when you are at a top program. His offense has been horrible for 10 years not matter what the personnel and he has had some great players. I can not think of one player whose offensive game got better under his realm, so that has to be due to coaching. I, and many other MD fans, have been complaining about this for years. It has been his way or the highway, and his way is all defense. It has cost them recruits as wells transfers. That may work at Wichita State but not at MD. MD has some of the best facilities in the country and is in one the best recruiting areas in the country. It should be a top 15 team every year. Turgeon just could not change his ways and it was eventually his downfall. This was not mutual no matter what they say. The pressure from big money alumni made this happen. Also, having Manning there helped so they felt like they had a coach that could handle the rest of the season. This will be interesting to watch, but it was his time to go. I was surprised of the timing, but have been celebrating it all night.

And I will already apologize for Oregon. What a bad call. I hate being this wrong. Got sucked into that one. Should have posted UTSA which I was all over. I just seem to be posting the wrong plays.
