"the bunker"
He won't be in full retreat. He'll keep Froch honest and clip him with fight sapping shots.

he`ll have to keep froch honest......not sure that dirrell has much power.....i haven`t seen it....

the scary part is,all froch needs is one to slip through.......

I think they can hurt each other but I think Dirrell can get there first.

we KNOW froch can hurt dirrell...we DON`T KNOW whether dirrell can hurt froch....

therein lies the rub...

as i said,i took a flyer with the speed...i wish the odds on froch inside were "hedge-able"....

lets go dirrell...i hope you`re right,kramden...

Dirrell less than a 1/2 ounce over. (Some boards say 4 oz but it was only half an ounce.) He already made weight.

I am BIG on Dirrell to beat Caveman Froch at +138 and I think it might be easy. SPEED KILLS!!!

Smaller on Dirrell ITD at +470.

I'm on Dirrell too, but considering the venue and Froch' style, not on the straight odds.

I'm overcoming my big reluctance to pick by KO (+560 at betfair,+480 the greek) HUGE ( 1 K) :scared
I believe contrary to most if he's to win it will be more than likely by ko.

Froch will be forced to close the distance from the start if he doesn't want to get outboxed. He charges with no defense, hands by his waist.

Dirrell will get to him first , he's got the reach and the speed.

People question Dirrell's power, but remember speed is power, plus he's filled out a little more since he beat Hanshaw.

The guys he decisioned were protecting themselves hands up; Froch always fights hands by his waist ( and i don't believe he can change that just for this fight)

He might not get Froch out with one shot, but it won't matter, because Froch will give him plenty of occasions charging in recklessly throughout 12 rds.

Check Froch's opponents, he never really faced big punchers ( the best one was Pascal, and he ate so many he looked punch drunk all night). Plus he's 32, quite old & slow to always be in tear ups.

I do believe tough Froch will win on the cards if this goes the distance, because his (innefective) agression.

WHAT TIME DOES THE FIGHT CARD START IN GERMANY LIVE? THANKS.

Showtime is showing that fight tape-delayed (8pm ET), but the fight actually occurs (I think) at around 5pm ET

You can probably find a German stream somewhere if you can't wait the couple hours for Showtime

Don't think a line ever appeared on this but Derek Ennis defeated Eromosele Albert via decision. Ennis was at home but I would have figured Albert to win as he drew with tough Ossie Duran and shut out normally competitive Germaine Sanders in recent bouts. Perhaps the African is feeling his 35 years and with fighters from Africa it wouldn't be a shock if he was 5-10 years older than his stated age.
