watched some of perez vs mabuza....and perez sort of reminded me a little of old eusebio pedroza....angular...fights at a very consistent pace... doesn`t look like a big puncher...actually isn`t a big puncher, but his punches wear guys down.....no expression...

he rolls with punches...and never seems flustered or bothered...he`s like the chinese water torture...drip,drip,drip....

agbeko`s pace vs perez` steadiness....interesting match-up....

Excellent observations me thinks! :weed:

I'm all over Yohnny at +170. I think this is a great price, and would have been happy to wager at even money. I have a real strong sense that Perez will be able to offset Agbeko's aggression with sharp and accurate punching. What weasel said about Perez being 'angular' was right on, and I see a highly skilled boxer making things confusing for Agbeko. Perez will step inside the African's wide shots, and counter him all night long with straight punching. Perez is not Darchinyan, who looked small, even soft at bantam and simply flung wild shots. This made Agbeko look good, and he is, but on Sat. he will be fighting a tall rangy bantam, more in the mold of Anselmo Moreno. Perez by hard-fought UD 116-112ish...pray to the boxing gods no bullshit scorecard ending. We need a good fight and a fair decision here.

I also like the DeMarco-Alfaro fight to go under 7 1/2 at +200. It's early, but I just have a feeling this one will be a firefight, with Alfaro on his back in 4 or 5 rounds.

Hey! Where the hell is everyone? I start rattling off posts and suddenly I'm talking too myself. :weed:

Man Camacho came in chubby.

What about the Shark Attack at +500 in an upset? How good is N.Linares anyway? Seems competent enough. Hopefully he's got a better beard than his brother, or Archak, who punches hard, might get him.

I am very tempted to take a shot on Campas...what a fat piece of crap Camacho Jr is....he really is the worst....can't even call him a pro boxer....ZERO work ethic....all talk.....and a quitter in the ring....remember the Jesses James Leija fight?

I don't know much about Linares - Shark Attack has a lot of wear and tear on him.

Even though 7.5 is not a lot of rounds, I agree with you Quanah. Me thinks Demarco-Alfaro might be a shootout.

Hey Ghost, howzit.

It seemed to me that Camacho was ready to fight this time, but seeing him come in all flabby again...

The Shark Attack is worth no more than a tickle, but hitting hard as he does, he just might catch someone one of these times.

Hey did you see the pictures of the Agbeko presser? Are they fighting in Vegas or Canada? Why are these guys all bundled up like that?

They asked Gary Shaw about that on the radio last night, and he said it has been FREEZING in Vegas all week. Weird.

Wuz just taking a boxrec look at the LH fight between Africans Chilemba and Ngumbu, and the fight looks even steven. Chilemba is a brickhouse though, and had a solid victory over Charles Adamu, who I remember giving Froch a good tussle a few years back. Anything known about either's amateur pedigree? Don't know much, so won't go much, but Chilemba is certainly live at +190. Now down a bit.

Just a heads up, for those who have futures on the McCloskey-Mbaye fight. It's off according to boxrec (second time this fight has fell apart).

Two SKY Fridays in a row ruined

I'm on Smith @ -190 and fight won't go the distance @ +137 for today's fight on SKY.
I didn't like Smiths fight against Banks on Contender but he is much more experienced against solid competition.

Very quiet week. I have ONE wager and that's the over on Camacho/Campas. Not a great line @-260 but I don't see either getting stopped. Line has moved to -330. Only concern is a cut on Campas and Camacho possibly looking for an out. I doubt it though. I still may put down a wager on tomorrows main event. Good luck everybody!

Just added Chilembra. The line is moving at most sites and was still able to nab him @+135. Thx ghost for pointing it out! Evan is also on it. The guy only has about 14 fights but he nearly shut out adumu who gave Froch a pretty tough fight.
