I agree with the catchweight bullshit. Fight at the Championship weight or fvck off...to put it diplomatically. I think Ray Leonard started this nonsense when he fought Lalonde. He fought for the the spr mid and lgt hvy "titles" weighing 165 and Lalonde had to come in no higher than 168...what a farce that was.

is this my man aka "franks"?(yeah i know,i`m a little slow on the uptake)....

welcome back,dude....:0074
Weasel; what up my brother? Yea; I could'nt log in for some reason under my old moniker, so I had to be creative. And addressing Ghost's comment about Pavlik, I too think he was merely a shell of the guy we knew on the way up. Question might be can Martinez up his game here. I believe Williams has the ability to do so, maybe just that much more than Martinez. I hope so.

I bet Martinez a few weeks ago because I found +130.

Against Cintron I didn't like some of PWill reactions to punches. I know that Cintron has cannon in his hands but he was also able to counter PWill and rock him.

But my gut tells me it will be close fight with PWill getting the nod on cards. Even if he realistically lose 7-5 I expect him to win 'cause he is promoter fighter here.

Apparently Chagaev is fighting Walker tomorrow in Germany. Not sure when the hell this was made/scheduled. Boystov is also on the card.

Of these, I (I'm biased) think B-Hop is the most astute. This was his domain and like him or not, he KNOWS his stuff. Then again, I bet Williams. OK, seems bottom line is who wants it more, to me anyway. Wish there was something definitive to go on here. It's just sooooo close!

Friday play

Friday play

A. Funes Melian (+260) - BIG Good spot for the unlikely upset. Melian has been a journeyman, but he seems to be improving lately. Victory over Mexican prospect M.Reyes and tough 12 round go with M.Rosales, who is a good fighter, show where he's at. Baldomir is almost 40, he's been inactive, and hasn't had a 'real' win since he beat Arturo Gatti in 2006! He looked old, and could not get off in last fight vs. Canelo, before getting ko'd hard. Now, I know Melian is not Canelo, but I still think the timing is right. Also, and this is a biggie, fight is in Melian's hometown of San Juan, where he is 9-0!

Good luck fellas! Saturday picks to come.

Looked this over and agree 1000% Q.

Canelo iced him 60 short days ago

Melian only stopped by Abregu and Saldivia (much harder punchers)

I would actually be surprised if Baldi wins this....judges should be a factor here

Let's do this.

Former heavyweight champion Ruslan Chagaev (27-1-1, 17 KOs) took a harder than expected eight round unanimous decision over Travis Walker (34-6-1, 28 KOs) in a good action fight on Friday night at the Universum Gym in Hamburg, Germany. The fighters often traded big bombs, but Chagaev did a little more to win by scores of 77-75, 78-75, 77-76. Chagaev is the mandatory challenger for WBA heavyweight champion David Haye.
