Anyone giving Minto a chance ?

At +500 i like the line a lot.

Minto might be there to get hit, but so will Arreola; Walker put him down; why can't Minto ?

I'll put it to you this way....I sure as hell don't like Arreola at that price.
Arreola has all the physical advantages - the fight means a lot more to Minto though.

Arreola and Balzay are in the same boat for me this week.
I don't like betting on fighters coming off bad losses.

Minto is way better than Walker; apart from Vitali, i would say he's the best oponnent Arreola has ever faced.

The only problem is he's a small HW. But he can punch, has a lot of heart and his chin is good.

Looks like fight news had it for Arnaoutis.

Regardless, congrats on hitting the dog whoever had Coleman.

So close on the DRAW
fck....so close......

I'm not unhappy about the Greek getting screwed
He is horrible to watch and he gives to many rounds away in fights
I will never forgive him for the Ricardo Torres fight a few years back
I bet big on Arnoutis, and he almost starched Torres with a big knockdown early in the fight
you guys may remember this, but instead of going for the kill (and Torres was hurt bad), Arnoutis walked across the ring and touched gloves with him ! After a knockdown ! WTF !
The guy has no killer instinct and I am happy he lost to Coleman.
Maybe Arnoutis will finally stop getting TV dates now.

I am riding with you Andrey....I took Barnes.....but I see a lot of support for Lynes out there....

Barnes is pretty slick....I think he can get it done on points in a short 3 rounder.....

I used to like the Greek, but he takes off too many rounds in his recent fights. This time it burned him again.

I could be wrong, but I do not think Minto has enough power to knock out Arreola. But since I took the under 7.5, I don't really care who KOs who as long as it is under 7.5 rounds. :mj07:

I took Coleman because his record ( only one defeat) and his age (25).
Arnautis being older and on the slide, i figured if the fight was close they were going to give it to the new blood.

Nowadays that's how you need to cap fights...

I wish you good luck; but if i was to play the OVER/UNDER, i would have taken the over; Minto is a pug, a very fit one at that.

Arreola carries way too much baggage; if he took his job more seriously he might just weigh the same as Minto.

So we basically have to similar fighters; but one is fit and the other not, altough with better power.

We will see.

I agree, thats one of my cardinal rules (which I still break from time to time) as well.

I dont see Minto hurting Arreola, but I'm really not sure about Arreoalas mental and physical state going into this fight.

Arnoutis gets robbed in his hometown, IMO thats the first time in 2009 that I'm on the lucky end of a dubious decision and that a fighter gets robbed in his hometwon (well, the latter has probably happened before).
:toast:

As for the Prizefighter tournemant. I tend to agree with the bookies, I give Rees a reasonable chance to win. He's a quick starter, aggressive and he seems to be up for this...I also think his style is pretty good for these 3 rounders, but I'm sure there are guys here who know more about English lighweights or lightwelters...

Hey what's up guys?

Good calls on the D.Garcia fight and Coleman fights... Both winner and round props!! Coleman fight may have been close, but capping reasoning was right on.

Williams vs. Martinez
Arreola vs. Minto
Thompson vs. Witherspoon
Quintana vs. Feliciano

Better than most ppv cards - if you like the heavys.

Friday pick:

Carson Jones +300 - Good Size Play I was eyeballing this one since I saw it on the schedule - hoping for some good odds... And I got them. This line is off. There is protected, over-protected, and then there is Tyrone Brunson. Mr. KO1 - big deal. Going for the record predictably screwed him up. When they shoved him in w/Soriano, a 12-9 fighter who had been ko'd multiple times, he was in deep. He was lucky to get a draw, and if fight was 8 Brunson may have even gotten ko'd due to fatigue.

They are working w/Brunson now, but this is a bad style match-up for him - I'm surprised they made the fight. Jones is a good boxer with a good chin...has been many rounds. He has a good team behind him, trains hard, and has been in good form lately. He is a fighter on the upswing, who is taking himself seriously. Coming to win as they say.

I really like C.Jones for a good upset opportunity.

Still looking over some things...will be back soon with some HUGE plays on Sat.

Good lucks friends! :box2:
