Hey guy's. Interesting week with alot of close match-ups.

-- How shot is Morales? Is even a shell of Morales enough to beat a second-tier guy like Alfaro? Morales' talk of another fight with Pacquiao is pure insanity.

--Will Garay come in in shape? He will have to be prepared for a tough night against Henry. How the hell did Henry lose to Yusaf Mack anyway?

--Will Guzman come in in shape? Even if he does, is it enough, at this point in his career, to beat a freak like Funeka.

--How good is Cayo? We will find out this weekend.

--How many miles will Dirrell cover? kurby Surely he does not think he can backtrack his way to a win against Abraham.

--Moreno vs. Cermeno... Great fight! Moreno is a true road warrior. He deserves alot of credit for this, but like Weepaul said, will this come back to bite him in the ass at some point?

--Ponsaklek trying to get his title back against Japanese young star Kameda. Another great fight.

Also, a couple of interesting future fights announced:

T.Bradley vs. LC Abregu... Should be a fire-fight, but I do believe Abregu is in for a solid ass-kicking.

H.Soto vs. A.Peterson... Tough first shot at the title for upstart Peterson, but is he catching Soto at the right time?

Joyi?s opponent arrives
http://www.dispatch.co.za/article.aspx?id=388890

Garcia:
?I am the champion coming into this fight, so I won?t be intimidated by where I fight Joyi.

?It could have been anywhere? Mexico, South Africa, China ? it?s all the same for me.

?I have been preparing for the fight for a while and I am feeling very strong.

?I have watched videos of Joyi in action and know his technique, so I am ready for this,? he added.

Moreno Arrives in Venezuela For Cermeno Showdown
http://www.boxingscene.com/?m=show&opt=printable&id=26191

"It is my pleasure to come to Venezuela, this is like the ninth time I've come to this country where I have family. When we got to the airport it was bitterly cold," Moreno said with a jacket on.

"But when came outside and felt the environment I realized that this is a lot like my country of Panama. We are going to have a great fight and we are ready to move forward on Saturday."

interesting thoughts!!

there are a lot of intangibles...

Dirrell is quick, but is he disciplined and determined enough?!

Cayo is quick as well, but he keeps his hands very low...

I hate betting on crappy fighters...I hate it I hate it I hate it. So I put a few bucks on Hatton :mj07:.
I think that the 39 yr old Branco is just a little crappier and Hatton is getting him at just the right time. Was going to wait for Graham to comment on this but i think the odds may move a little bit. Hatton appears to be finding himself as of late although he will never be world class. i think Hatton was fortunate the Judah fight fell through. Many thought he beat Ndou who I believe is a step up from Branco. Hatton has the size advant and he's on an upswing while Branco clearly is in his twilight.

Dirrell and Abraham went to the Red Wings game together. Didn't know they were hockey fans.
