The only thing that can keep this bet from cashing is Urango icing Alexander .
Urango will bring it all 12 rounds , will Alexander's cardio and chin hold up 36 minutes ? Urango doesn't seem like the type of a guy who will quit no matter what . Alexander doesn't have Randall Bailey power to drop Urango . I would put a small insurance play on Urango inside at around + 500 odds and larger on over 11.5 . Outside chance Urango can lay out tired Alexander in the last 90 seconds to cash both :mj07:
On paper this looks similar to Ward vs Kessler and Ward would have no chance to stop Kessler if not all the cuts from headbutts .

That was a bad double beat
I was on Kessler with Ward 12 rnd decision hedge
:142smilie :142smilie :142smilie
I was never worried until the moment the ref stopped it - Ward decision backers got screwed

The Colombian does not cut like fair-skinned Kessler, but I have seen Urango's eyes swell a lot. That's a concern. But I think Alexander is going to stick and move all night. Berto and Bailey both have very impressive power.

Joshua Clottey said during a recent conference call that he doesn?t believe Manny Pacquiao takes banned substances, but if he does, he?ll have to answer to God for it. How does Clottey know God is anti-steroids? Maybe He likes a little HGH as much as the next guy. How do you think He got so big in the first place?

I'm a little shocked, there is a documentation / promo in German TV on Stefan Kretschmann and his way back (to fight Bakhtov)....

:scared  :violin:

I'm happy for all the exposure boxing gets, but thats ridiculous IMO, I would be VEERY interested in some info on the Super 6 tourney, but Kretschmann...

I don't speak German, but I heard about this show and I REALLY want to see it. It sounds hilarious.

How could this be? Did you see it Zerwas? Is it like HBO 24/7 ? This really is unbelievable.

I think this Kretchmann rematch with Bahktov must be a fixed fight. I actually think the first one was a setup, but the Russian KO'ed him by mistake !
:142smilie :142smilie :142smilie :142smilie

I've never seen such a fragile heavyweight. It was shocking to watch him get destroyed. And he kept complaining to the ref that he was slipping on the ring mat.

Pacman or Floyd would take this guy out within 3 minutes :142smilie

I can't bet this fight, but I honestly think that Bahktov is being paid off.

I really do.

They are spending all this money on a TV show ? For what ? The outcome is determined.

This thing is scheduled for 12 rounds? Yikes. Even if they tell Bakhtov not to hit him, 12 rounds is a long time to behave. If the Russian gets angry, he might just say screw the money and knock the big stiff out again !

Today they show the first part (there are actually more parts...its really getting hysterical ;-) )

Maybe I will watch it...but I have to get up early...

I guess it will start with how Kretschmann makes excuses of how he slipped and so on....

OMG, Kretschmann, the only thing that keeps me from playing Bakhtov big is, as Brainiac pointed out, that Bakhtov is probably paid to take a dive...

I seriously think the Kretchmann fight is fixed
If it is not, surely he will get stopped again
he can't take even the slightest punch !
I am VERY curious to watch this - a 3 part TV series ?!?!
My lord. All this time and money being spent on this joke.
Bahktov will probably just go down right away - we will see what type of actor the Russian is!

This card is decent tho : Juan Carlos Gomez , Mahir Oral , Yuriorkis Gamboa and of course the most important fight Steffen Kretschmann vs Denis Bakhtov :142smilie

Just watched the latest Super Six episode

How bout that Allan Green?

"My porn name in another life is Buck Nasty"
"Leaving me out of the Super Six tournament is like leaving Robert DeNiro out of a mafia movie....you can't do that"

OK big shot. Let's see what you got. Back it up now.

I also love when they showed Abraham the venue for the Dirrell bout (this was shot before the cancellation and reschedule in Michigan, so they showed him the arena in California). His reaction:

"2000 people?! This is maybe too small. My last fight 50,000 people come to see me"
:mj07: :mj07: :mj07: :mj07: :mj07:

Abraham is the man. Fast cars. Fast woman. Adoring crowds. Dude is a rock star in Germany. He probably thought that arena in California was a joke.

Fck! Cloud-Johnson OFF for now because of Don King
What a bastard - pulling one of his old dirty tricks
He apparently handed Cloud a suitcase of cash and got a signature on a contract
Now King has other plans (he did this with Rahman years ago)
King single-handedly ruining one of boxing's best potential fights

Victoria's Secret
who is advising tavoris cloud? if he is advising himself, i question whether he has a brain

he sat on his mandatory position for a year layoff before the clinton woods fight

doesn't tavoris know what don king did for SAMUEL PETER, NATE CAMPBELL, RICARDO MAYORGA..
:mj07: :mj07:

NOTHING.

doesn't he want momentum at this stage in his career. win or lose vs the road warrior. he would have built some cachet. that fight would have been battle for South Florida

i would have understood if he signed with haymon boxing organization but to sign with don king??? the man cant even get on camera on HBO

wtf
