plays so far

Alexander-Urango OVER 11.5/Alexander W12- good size I'm behind the madjack play of the weekend! There is danger for Alexander here, but I say he comes through just like we think he will. UD Alexander.

parlay - Masternak, Zappavigna, Shamone Alvarez (+100) - good size Sometimes it pays to get in early on the odds. I got Masternak at -360 and Zappa at -275, both of which have skyrocketed now.

Masternak I don't know too much about these guys, but by record Masternak seems to be a top level Polish prospect. Fight is in Poland as well. His opponent is a tough African fighter, who lost to a French journeyman in his only step up fight. This fight is made for Masternak to win, and hopefully he does.

Zappavigna Although maybe slipping just a bit, Angulo is a tough customer. I had my doubt about this until I watched some film of Zappa. He looks very dogged. He is active and tenacious in the ring. Zappa is also young and I get the impression he is really improving. He is relatively untested, but I think Zappa will be too strong and determined.

Sh.Alvarez Shamone should come thru here. Free-swinging Camacho could be a threat, but Shamone is a solid boxer who can win this easy on technique.

these are the main plays for now...

Also going small, and in a couple parlays on the OVER in the Sykes-Morris fight today. Like the odds suggest, it should happen...

Alexander-Won't be an easy fight to watch but I think Alexander will have enough to get by the one dimmenional Urango. If Urango owned a good jab, I wouldn't place the bet. If Urango can steal a few early rds then I'll be nervous but I think Alexander will win by a comfortable dec. Even if the fight is close I think the promotion will side w/ Alexander and he'll get the nod. I got an opening @ -250 and some more in parlays @ a higher number. BIG wager for me and I have a Urango ITD hedge just in case. Alexander is going to school Sat night but I think he'll graduate. I'm fooked if Urango takes a dec.

I took Zapp -290. Angulo was down 3 times in his last go and Zapp appears to be improving. Haven't seen him but Zapp appears to have a liitle pop on his punches. I'm a little nervous as Zapp has been down 3 times in his career and Angulo is probably the hardest puncher he has faced. The under is tempting @+190...looks like either fighter could potentially be stopped in this.

BIG on the Alvarez/Cam over- 290...Cams pop appears to be overrated. He's been very ordinary in "step up" fights. Alvarez has a chin and then some. I think Alv takes a dec.

Good luck Madjackers!

Hi Gents

For me it will be:

Gary Sykes vs Andy Morris
I think a draw could happen, or maybe a late stoppage (play over a double chance)... so I am on both at very nice odds :0corn

-> added small on Sykes at even... I think is a fair line...

Devon Alexander - Juan Urango
I am on Alex, Alex by Dec, Alex late KO, Over 11,5
hedged by Urango 7-12...

Mateusz Masternak v Faisal Ibnel Arrami
I got Arrami at +800 so I put a some ? as even if I think he is maybe not going to make it I could not resist the line

in addition I have some dog plays but only very small mounts... more or less the same style like Arrami, real dogs but value bets.

-> Just added some add. draw bets (smaller amounts as no high convictions, but at very nice lines)

Let's get them. :box2:

Cheers

rnd 1 Sykes by my eyes
a tad faster
and dropped a few nice right hands over the top on Morris
"wiped the smile off his face", as the announcer said

RD1 - Morris staggers Sykes back with first punch of fight. Sykes not hurt. Stiff jabs to Sykes face. Sykes looks off balance... second half of round Sykes settles down. Both are standing right in there. Good shots from Sykes. Morris wobbles a bit. Sykes come back to win rd.

my stream sucks, but I'll try to update...

I missed 2. Announcers say it could go either way, so let's call it even.

RD3 - Morris boxes very well and takes the round clearly.

29-29 even fight after 3

RD4 - Sykes the aggressor but Morris more polished. Morris boxing very well. Sykes looking a little ragged, now he lands a good shot. Morris back to boxing. Morris.

39-38 Morris

RD5 - Good shots from Morris. Hook to body, hook to head. Sykes lunging and missing. Morris very comfortable in there. Sykes lands a couple. Morris could be more offensive, but he is outboxing Sykes

49-47 Morris

Decent 5th close round to Sykes I think , commentators at it again making it sound like one sided fight . Morris throws too few punches , lets see if this can be a draw in the end .
