Ruiz is a solid guy and I've given it some thought, and will probably give it more, but Ruiz has never faced anything quite as dynamic and explosive as Haye.
Brutal tank David Tua notwithstanding, everyone else was either somewhat plodding and methodical - Golota, Holy, Rahman et al or smaller, slick and quicker. See Jones and Toney.
Ruiz was wobbled badly by Jones who wouldn't follow up. Golota dropped Ruiz cleanly and then not so cleanly.
Tony Tucker made Ruiz do a dance. If Haye is right, he will land a clean, fast bomb on him, it might do the trick or set up the coupe de grace.
Haye is the only one, so far, to make the the 8th wonder of the world do the jitterbug.
Anyway, just food for thought. We'll see what Haye looks like at the weigh in. I've been a Jawwny fan, unlike most, probably because I know him a bit from his early days but he may have a bad style in front of him. Compelling fight.
Know Stoney , too. What a nut job. He's caused some hilarious ruckuses on some small cards over the years, too.
