Orlov is bigger than Fields. An entirely different proposition for Tony.

I liked Tony to beat Kevin Johnson. Johnson wouldn't have been able to jab, backpedal, and hang on the ropes and win a 3 round fight.

"Heavyweight Kevin ?Kingpin? Johnson has pulled out of Saturday?s Prizefighter: International Heavyweights tournament on Saturday in London after he was refused exit from the States due to non-payment of child maintenance."

Not really classy of fightnews to out that, but whatever.

Gotta take care of the kids. Shut your mouth and pay your bills.

Something to think about

Something to think about

First fight I started to think about was Holyfield/Nielsen. Thinking about hitting the +120 for the 6.5 under. Nielsen hasn't fought in almost nine years. One can only imagine just how much you can forget/lose in that timespan, such as how to put on boxing gloves

but under 6.5 at +120, seems a litte expensive to me, if you compare it to the initial +125 you got at the under 9.5.

As we don't know in what shape the really are and how good they prepaired I prefer to have the 3 rounds more.
(Actually I even played not the distance)

Just my 2 cents
Cheers

manny itd at -130 looks like it`s worth a flyer....

it`s high time somebody stopped the 39 year old....he looked awfully slow vs money mayweather(if mayweather was a finisher, mosley would have been stopped).....and should look even slower a full year later closing in on birthday #40....

hell,he was lucky to escape with a draw vs mora...

he`s fighting the antithesis of margarito here....speed kills....speed and power from a lefty stance makes it even worse...

jumping back and forth between 154/147 at age 39?....and this is at 147?........doesn`t look good for shane, imo

it all adds up to a bad outcome for a guy that has turned into a "stand in front of you and bang" guy...

heres hoping that manny sees being the only guy to ever stop mosley as another feather in his cap.....

Yea weasel, that's where I'm stuck. I too think Manny can stop Mosley, but is that their game plan, or, as they like to say, take the KO if it comes? Unlike Oscar De la"I really did'nt want to fight anymore" Hoya, Shane will try and go out on his shield. Maybe the ref will stop it perhaps? GL weasel, whichever way you go. I'm going to try something on the under card. Also just read Graham's take on this and he stated he was on the phone with Roach and Freddie says he wants Manny to stop Shane. Roach said Manny let Cotto and Margarito off the hook, like he felt "bad" for them. No more Mr. Nice guy as it were now. OK, so it boils down to Manny stops him, or, Kenny Bayless calls a halt to the proceedings.

Friday plays

Friday plays

What's up guys?

I like a lot this weekend - gonna have to pace myself a bit.

Friday plays:

I'll get this one out of the way first.

Aaron Pryor Jr. (+600) - medium
I'm calling the big upset here. I think this is bad matchmaking by Andrade's people. Pryor seems to have found himself recently. He dominated Dyah Davis - which looks better now on account of Davis' recent performances. I also thought the fight with E.Rodriguez could have gone either way - scores were way off. Pryor is 6-4, lanky, and a good boxer - awkward as hell to fight. Andrade has been inactive, he leads with his face, and is a slow starter... Enough variables for me make a solid play on Pryor

I see Pryor winning the first 4 before Andrade gets into the fight. They split the last 3, with Andrade coming on late. 97-93. Huge upset for Pryor.

Also got a little of the DRAW @ +3500.

Andrade-Pryor Jr. OVER 7.5 (-130)
E. Briceno (-140) - medium

I hit both of these healthy before odds traveled. Briceno is the much more solid guy. Zamora folds everytime he steps up.

Pryor never stopped. Andrade a slow starter.

Magdaleno-Leon UNDER 9.5 - small - (+195)
Worth a stab at good odds. Early in his career Mag seemed to have no power. Now, when they up his level of comp. he's suddenly blowing guys out of there. Dude found his punch. Leon has been durable but a closer exam of his record show many loses against exceptionally light punchers. Worth the risk IMO

Still Prizefighter - the German card - and of course the Pacquiao event to come!

if i recall, briceno gave montiel a fit years ago....i remember it being much closer than the scores indicated...

i don`t believe i`m speaking out of school as this fight is 2 hours away and i still don`t see any distance props at my books....

IF....if anybody has a book that offers round or distance props and likes briceno,i noticed that zamora has been stopped in all 4 losses...

just a heads up if you liike old evert and can find a prop....

weigh in

weigh in

Shane did look good. He did what he had to do to get in shape.

Pac looked solid as usual.

Pavlik - I thought he was in rehab. With all the new tats he's sporting, he looks like hedid a 20 year stretch at San Quentin. Pure corn fed kid really looks messed up with that body art. Too bad he went that route.

Ray Narh - wow, just wow.

Alvarado - destruction mode.

Gutsy call Q! I agree with some of what you said. Andrade has slipped some and he was getting hit WAY to easily and often by Lucas. I think he chose not to concentrate on D thinking he would just mow Lucas down. Lucas wasn't very accomodating. Pryor isn't a bad fighter but not a genuine contender IMO. The Rodriguez fight was close. I think Andrade is better than Rodriguez. Size wise he matches well with Pryor. This fight is also in Andrades backyard so to speak. The Hispanic crowd (and judges I think) will be backing him. I think Pryor will really have to do a number on Andrade to pull this out. Good luck to you and all the props in the world IF Pryor pulls it off. Me thinks he'll just about need a ko to do it. I'm on Andrade to win chump change.

Are the weigh in pics (tomorrows card) available somewhere? Thx:0074
