Shane did look good. He did what he had to do to get in shape.

Pac looked solid as usual.

Pavlik - I thought he was in rehab. With all the new tats he's sporting, he looks like hedid a 20 year stretch at San Quentin. Pure corn fed kid really looks messed up with that body art. Too bad he went that route.Ray Narh - wow, just wow.

Alvarado - destruction mode.

Was thinking the same. Call me an old timer I guess but I just don't get it. I don't expect Wonderbread but jeeeeeezuz

Speaking of Tats, Hangover II comes out next week and the dude with the Tyson Tat looks hysterical :mj07: Can't wait for that one.

Thx for the pics link Q :0074

Gilberto Sanchez Leon/Diego Magdaleno Under 9? +165 (single pop)

Diego Magdaleno has unimpressive KO percentage overall but seems to be sitting on his punches of late

He should outclass doggie

JC Martinez (18-12) upsets Roach trained Philippino Bernabe Concepcion! Split win.

Bad omen for Pac?... I don't think so.

Mosley does look in great shape.

I think Mosley gets gassed by the 7th frame.
I know everyone will think I am brain dead but I have alway's thought Shane would give Pac a great fight and might just beat him.

Pac has been fighting much slower guy's recently and is now fighting someone who is still pretty fast and hits pretty hard.

I have alway's thought the guy who beats Pac would need to be a good body puncher and I think Shane still does this really well.

I believe Shane is going to be very dangerous in the first 4 rounds but if he can't get Pac out of there, he will gas like Frank say's.

I think I'm the only mug on these forums who gives Shane a legit shot

Good luck all :toast:

Not watching but Q looking like Nostrodamus so far. Pryor takes 1st 4 on most cards but Andrade coming on in mid rds. I think 3 to go....fight must be pretty close...but remember, it's in Andrades backyard :popcorn2

One guy has it 67-66 Pryor but Andrade coming on and hurting Pryor last few rds.

What's up guys?

I like a lot this weekend - gonna have to pace myself a bit.

Friday plays:

I'll get this one out of the way first.

Aaron Pryor Jr. (+600) - medium
I'm calling the big upset here. I think this is bad matchmaking by Andrade's people. Pryor seems to have found himself recently. He dominated Dyah Davis - which looks better now on account of Davis' recent performances. I also thought the fight with E.Rodriguez could have gone either way - scores were way off. Pryor is 6-4, lanky, and a good boxer - awkward as hell to fight. Andrade has been inactive, he leads with his face, and is a slow starter... Enough variables for me make a solid play on Pryor

I see Pryor winning the first 4 before Andrade gets into the fight. They split the last 3, with Andrade coming on late. 97-93. Huge upset for Pryor.

Also got a little of the DRAW @ +3500.

Andrade-Pryor Jr. OVER 7.5 (-130)
E. Briceno (-140) - medium

I hit both of these healthy before odds traveled. Briceno is the much more solid guy. Zamora folds everytime he steps up.

Pryor never stopped. Andrade a slow starter.

Magdaleno-Leon UNDER 9.5 - small - (+195)
Worth a stab at good odds. Early in his career Mag seemed to have no power. Now, when they up his level of comp. he's suddenly blowing guys out of there. Dude found his punch. Leon has been durable but a closer exam of his record show many loses against exceptionally light punchers. Worth the risk IMO

Still Prizefighter - the German card - and of course the Pacquiao event to come!

Q
VERY VERY GOOD BRO!!!

paulie; I am thinking this has a 70% chance of getting halted. Freddie Roach is not and has never been a bullshit artist. It's hard to imagine a truly honest guy in this game, but Roach is a straight arrow. He said to Graham Houston by phone that he has instructed Manny to get Shane out of there. OK, so that doesn't mean it will happen, but I do think he means what he says. This is a nice payday for Shane; if he losses to Manny, so what?

I wager big chalk on a guy that was taking some blistering combos from a washed up 38 yr old Eric Lucas...
