Cintron magically fine now and says he "boxed his ass off"

says he hurt Williams, Williams was falling down, and pulled him in desperation
says the doctors took away the "fight of his life"
:mj07: :mj07: :mj07: :mj07:

this guy is just something else with his stories
he should write for TV

John Murray vs Gary Buckland Under 9.5 -185 - Medium- Tough Loss (fight should of been stopped earlier)

Manuel Quezada vs Jason Gavern Over 8.5 -120 - Medium - Cancelled

Jorge Solis vs Mario Santiago Over 8.5 -120 - Small - Win

Margarito vs Garcia Under 9.5 -120 - Large - Loss

Paul Williams wins inside distance -135 - Medium -Lucky Win (
I'm very thankful a technical decision wins with this prop. If I had bet at another site of Williams by Ko, Tko, or DQ, I would of lost.)

Another crazy week. One question for you guys that watched the Margarito fight. Does Garcia just have a really good chin or does Margarito just need plaster of Paris to knock guys out????

Thanks guys.

Let's get'em next week!

That wasn't Dwyer was it??? Whoever that was, he's was fvcking hysterical. I had tears in my eyes.

Cintron is now saying the "the doctors took it from me" "Why didn't they give me the 5 minutes?"...ummmm perhaps because you were motionless for 10 minutes.

PW was not hurt in rd 4 as Dibella and Kerm are saying. PW took a solid rt but he came rt back. I thought PW won the 30 secs of action in that rd. Not sure who would have won. PW did look vulnerable and flat and a determined fighter could have beaten him. I'm not so certain Kerm can be described as determined. The fight probably should have been ruled a NC.

From the HBO broadcast (that's all we can judge) he NEVER EVER acted like he wanted to continue !

He was laying there like a quadriplegic !
and now he wants us to believe he begged for 5 minutes?

Who is he kidding.....please.....get that shit out of my kitchen...it stinks....bad....

Ghost you the best:)

We gotta laugh bro
Boxing is great
but can also be very aggravating with guys like this

Kermit Cintron is a once in a lifetime fighter
Leaping out of Boxing Rings, Blinded by Hair Gel, Breaking Every Bone in his Body, and then magically fine an hour later
The man has mystical powers

He just jumps out of the ring!??

Maybe he saw Pac or Martinez at ringside and thought it was time for some tag team action or whatever.... :142smilie :142smilie :mj07: :mj07:

Hilarious!!!

Man I gotta email my boy Dougie
he is usually on the money with his articles, but this is just way off

"Cintron tripped"
"what bad luck"
"Cintron beaten by the California system"

this is exactly the type of shit i was worried about...the media DEFENDING THIS MORON

Tough to tell ringside
but wait till all these boxing writers get home to the TIVOs and DVRs

That was a dive if I have ever seen one...in the olympics they would have scored that a 9 or a 10

Well, I guess it was just a freak accident but it sure as hell looks a bit strange...

BTW, isnt there a general rule that a fight is ruled a no contest if it is stopped before 4 rounds are completed!

should be a NC!

not the interview with Cintron
but the clip of the fight with the guy showing the replay
he makes a great point
"Why even waste our time with Kermit Cintron?"
peace

California is 3 rounds apparently. Shouldn't have been NC.

Regardless of the technicalities, my vote is for TKO. He quite. Dude jumped out of the ring and flopped himself onto the floor, basically TKO'ing himself when the doctor said he couldn't go on, which was an understandable after Cintron was on the floor for so long.

IMO, a fight shoudl be a NC if it is stopped before the end of round 4.
Just my opinion.

And yes, it looks veeery strange and you really got to wonder what Cintron was thinking.

I mean, he didnt have that much time to make up his mind before he jumped out of the ring....

California rules are that once the 4th round starts, it's a fight. It's not really open to interpretation I think. Though what the heck exactly happened with Cintron is.

"the bunker"
i love everyone here...but i think sometimes we let out personal feelings get the better of our objective judgement....

yes,cintron caught a break vs martinez...with that i agree...

but that redneck on the video?...he`s a clown...

you guys really think that cintron "jumped" out of the ring to avoid continuing in a fight he was winning(or even with totally shitty scoring was dead even)?....

this fight(unfortunately)was going much, much better than i had ever anticipated for cintron...that`s an honest opinion from a guy with money on williams...

could he have gotten back up?..who knows......i didn`t hit the table.....same could have been said for bhop vs allen...

oooooo.kkkkk.,.no sense beating a dead horse...it is what it is....not a big deal.....on to next week...:toast:
