I played

Yuriy Nuzhnenko (+160) - Small

Judah-Santa Cruz Under 9? (-160) - Medium

Shawn Porter (-285) - Large

I'll probably take a stab at Ishe Smith +300 and Lebedev -140.

I started the post about Yuriy so I think I'm obligated to put a few bucks on him. Hatton sucks so the doggie is live here. Good luck for those that are on board!

Romi - Like your take on the Lebedev fight. Let's hope we're seein' it clearly.

Weasel - I'm with you on Ishe! He's solid enough against relatively untested prospect to be worth the price.

Weepaul - Don't like when we're going the opposite way, but it's nice to get the opposite perspective. Graham's with you on Alexeev too. We'll see. I thought about Barrett a bit too, and did offer up a pittance on him. It's just that he seems really shot, and is prone to getting laid out too. If Tua puts in one of his slow methodical performances we may have a shot, but he appears to be in good shape.

Matt - Glad to see you like Dallas. Alot of love for Lane out there, and I thought I'd be on my own for this one.

Mexico Weights

WBO/WBC bantamweight champion Fernando Montiel (42-2-2, 31 KOs) and his challenger Rafael Concepcion (14-2-2, 8 KOs) were in very good shape as they easily made weight for Saturday's clash in Mexico. Both champion and challenger weighed in at the division limit of 118-pounds. The fight will be televised on the "Top Rank Live" series in the United States. Concepcion, a former interim-champion, is a late replacement for Eric Morel who withdrew last Friday with a leg injury.

the addams family?...

seriously...i really do think, excellent amateur career notwithstanding, that lebedev looks like a better pro than alexeev....on a neutral i`d throw down on him with no qualms...

still might go small ....thinking......

MY PLAYS:

Nuzhnenko +185 small
Porter -300 medium
Guerrero parlayed
Santa Cruz +500 small
Alekseev +150 medium
Montiel parlayed
Angulo parlayed

MY THOUGHTS:

Tua will destroy Barrett..if there was an OVER UNDER I would play UNDER 9 minutes.....I think it might go 1 round.

Hatton could lose at any point....not sure Nushenko is any worse than Craig Watson.

I think Ishe will come up short again.....and he is really fighting too heavy nowadays.

I like Porter and have bet him, but I have a little concern over the height and weight (first fight at 147).

I LOVE the odds on Santa Cruz and I think he is VERY live if he can make it past round 4....BIG IF.....
most likely scenario is Zab ices him early, but the longer this goes, the more interesting it will get....and I will take +500 all day against a guy who couldn't get Ernest Johnson out in 10 rounds.

I think Angulo will eventually chop the 34 year old Alcine down.

I HATE the odds on Bradley....he probably wins, but the odds are double what they should be.

I think Montiel OWNS Concepcion....Montiel is very good...and the guy he struggled with (Valdez) was tall and lanky, the exact opposite of Concepcion.....this Panamanian is WAY over rated.....what has he ever done?....gone 12 with Nonito and got iced by a shot Arce....I wouldn't be surprise to see Montiel end this early.....Montiel has too much on the line to look past this guy.....honestly I think Concepcion SUCKS.

NO PLAY on Lane-Dallas....just haven't seen enough of Lane to know.

Alekseev, I think, is a little better than he looks and I like what he has been saying this week...I think he knows this is redemption time.....make or brake....I think he wins this late or cautiously on points.

Killer Queen should also win easily....Susi aint no Ina Menzer.......

Good luck to the crew

I hate seeing you and Romi on the other side as well Brother.
I just have a strong feeling that because Alexeev has a powerful ram-rod jab and Lebedev is so short, Alexeev is going to make his face swell and take him out.
Well at least a couple of us are making money, one way or the other :0074

Fox is a good body puncher but I think this ref will look for any excuse to penalize him.

Hatton will really need stamina tonight.
