what a disaster
a million people on the stage
no interviews
no organization
some boring old guy announcing
some awful disco music playing over the loudspeaker
and worst of all
they started the weigh-ins earlier than the listed start time
I missed Linares and Juarez all together

hard to believe that diaz couldn`t fight at jr ltweight.....he has so much loose, useless weight on him....
if i were him,i`d give it a try before i get too old...not exactly a murderers row 5 pounds below lightweight...

I emailed HBO boxing and this is the response I just received regarding the weigh in stream:
"Looks like the broadcast started earlier than announced. We'll have the archive, plus photos up in about an hour."
like Thongie said, completely weak.
Who is in charge here?
Tell whoever is on stage to wait 5 minutes for the broadcast prep. Is that too difficult?
If you have told everyone, with press releases and website posts, that the weigh-in will start at 5:45 EST, why start it at 5:30 ?

that`s the annoying part...he`s not necessarily overmatched by the top dogs at 140....he has tools and length...
but somebody must know something we don`t...they`re avoiding big fights like the plague...
Bet huge on George a few months back and would have been content with a draw. He got a hometown wide dec in hs backyard. Good luck to anybody that bet the doggy here.
