Before it goes off the board, I wanted to mention that I've got a small wager on the Sithsamerchai-Porpramook OVER 9.5 at -120. Their first fight went the distance without incident. Sith has consistently been a distance fighter, skilled but without much pop. Edgar Sosa took Por out in 4, but this is the only time he's been stopped. I have some concern that Por may be a shot fighter, and if it was 11.5 I would leave it alone. At 9.5 though, I'm willing to take a shot on this one.

Good bet. Draw 114-114 114-114 114-113 (Oleydong)

I was at this card but after 5 Muay Thai matches I wasn't ready to wait through another 2 and it was boiling hot out. Finished the card off on TV.

Oleydong was KD'd in the 4th and hurt his leg and was limping. Thought it might get stopped, but after a couple rounds he recovered and from then on not much danger of a stoppage.

You were at the card, wow!

Oleydong seems to be slipping a bit. Every fight seems to be a real struggle for him.

Weekend Plays

Weekend Plays

3 parlay - F. Sturm, J. Zaveck, O.Romero (+100) - medium well
Also have Seda from last week involved in some parlays with first two. All of these look solid to me. Lorenzo hits hard and could land a lucky punch, but odds are he doesn't have the complete skill set to get it done. I also like the looks of the Sturm by dec. prop.

Zaveck fight feels a bit dangerous, but I think he's fighting very well now. Home field should be the difference here.

To me, Romero should be a bigger favorite. I got him at -5, and he has gone up now. I suppose there is a chance of a letdown after the Mayol fights, but I really can't see him surrendering the title he worked so hard to acquire.

C. Ota (-115) - medium well Two fighters on different trajectories I think. Ota seems very much on the upswing, with a string of solid victories, including his last which as an excellent win over top Aussie prospect King Davidson. This was a clear upset. Ota seems to hit quite hard. Yuba is 33. He's a tall, lanky, and fragile guy who has been ko'd and down on various occasions. I see a passing of the guard type of fight here, with Ota scoring the knockout.

R. Burns (+350) - medium Here's my upset play of the week. I think Martinez if over rated in general. He has been tested by guy's he really should have dominated. Struggle against very average Feider Viloria is glaring. Scotland is a long way to go, and a tough place for visiting fighters. Burns is a slick boxer, and I think the timing is right here for Burns to put in an excellent performance and pull it off.

I also think M. Omura (+220) and N. Espinoza (+675) are viable upset shots worth a little fun. The Japanese fight is, to me, even money. Lazarte at home again in Argentina and he'll probably rough house his way to another win, but I'm not sold on the little guy, even after his surprising win against Tamara. Before Tamara, he hadn't beaten anyone at all, and even lost a decision, in Argentina, to D. Reyes, who had repeatedly gotten outclassed by any decent fighter at the weight.

Good luck fellas!

It was definitely a struggle. Oley looked a bit slicker and MAYBE was landing a bit cleaner, but Por was the one coming forward the entire fight. Oleydong was mainly counterpunching.

In the 4th when he got KD'd, Oleydong was bending forward at the waist over and over again just asking to get tagged.

Directly at the end of the 12th Por jumped to the ground and started busting out speed pushups. :142smilie

New opponents for Macklin and Konecny. Nice to see that they are not scrapped from the card.

Macklin vs. Shalva Jombardashvili - who is a fairly tough customer.

Konecny vs. Matthew Hall - which should be a very exciting fight.

Well done and props to Warren and promoters for trying to keep a great card in tact!

100% it was that fat lady's fault....TMZ even has a poll running right now about this video....the kid actually showed EXTREME patience after being slapped...he even tells her "I can take 20 of those....sit down"

Worst part is the lady pointing her finger at the end....probably trying to say her guy was pushed....smile bitch....you're on candid camera....assault charges for you.....

I also like the the part when the kid says he has big money on the "game" and he paid "good money" for the seats....then we see they are all sitting in the damn nose bleeds.....where the players look like ants.....
:142smilie

but then again its the US Open....nose bleed seats probably still cost a couple hundred bucks....

also check out the kid's friend, in the second video you can see him still sitting.....just praying no one socks him by association....what a pussy......
