Takalani Ndlovu earned himself a shot at the IBF junior featherweight title when he beat Kiki Martinez on points in Johannesburg on Friday night.

looks like under hit even if u took 9.5:

from fightnews:

Jean Pascal (24-116KO) retained his WBC light heavyweight world championship with a tenth round technical knockout of 43-year-old mandatory challenger Silvio Branco (59-10-2 36KO) of Italy. The end came at 2:19 with Branco going down for the second time in the round just as his corner were throwing in the towel to end the fight. It was the first defense for Pascal who captured the title earlier this year with victory over fellow Montrealer Adrian Diaconu. The rematch of that fight with Diaconu is now set to go on December 11th. Pascal also brought Branco down at the very end of the 7th round with a left hook.

Making the case for Arreola

Making the case for Arreola

Sound logic on all bets..good luck!

My plays:

Poontang +120, Dunne is chinny and this guy fights all 12 rds with pressure. I think at some pt he will catch Dunne and knock him out. I think Dunne will win it if he can remain on his feet over 12.

Pascal -1000, doesn't take rocket science to pick this one and it would be the upset of the yr if the old man pulled it off. I layed the wood to make a few hund. The line has moved to at least -2000.

Aereola itd +700, small wager for me but I think he's live and no way in hell he can win a dec so I got the better # by putting it on the prop. The eastern Euro style does not handle effective agression very well and that has been shown in numerous fights....vlad/brew, vlad/sanders, tszyu/hatton, diamond/campbell, golata/anybody to name a few and Vit had some trouble with an over the hill out of shape sanders. Giive these guys room to fight and they will look like a million bucks but put some effective pressure on them and they have a tendancy to fold. Sanders was giving Vit trouble and had Vit gasping for air early. It was obvious Vit had trouble fighting when being pressured and backing up. Sanders simply didn't have the stamina to keep it up and Vit was able to gain control once Sanders tired out. IF Aereola can sustain effective pressure, he can get Vit unglued and possibly take him out around the 8th-9th. It's easier said than done to get inside that long jab of Vit but if Aereola believes in himself he can do it. Good luck!

I like the confidence in Arreola. I think that Arreola is quite live. I like the point about Klitschko not handling pressure too well. He is 38 and has not had a serious fight in many years (when he got carved up by Lewis). Peter was just a heavy bag in that fight and Gomez was williing but can't crack an egg with his punches. Arreola is extra-rugged, and will, I think, make Klit very uncomfortable in there. I have been watching Arreola since very early in his career, and something about him has always seemed a bit special. I knew he would walk through Witherspoon and Walker. Arreola could have used another fight or two against solid contender-types. At +500 or thereabouts, Arreola is absolutely worth a shot, and if nothing else, is the fun pick of the night.

Hi Thong,

as the fight ended 9rounds 2:19 the under 9,5 didn't hit as it was more then 1:30 ..... such a shame I had a double chance on between 9-9,5 rounds... :moon:

In general I have a "bad" feeling that this will not be a dog weekend...

Good luck to all of us especially with Poon!

I have Vitali straight -600; i certainly believe Arreola has the style to trouble him; but at 251 he showed he doesn't take his job seriously and he's forfeited the bulk of his chances to win.

Vitali's mouvement is dodgy, but his chin and straight right aren't.

Poonsawat does it!!! :00hour :00hour :00hour

We were all over this one, so well done all Poon backers.

Gonna have some fun tonight on the dogs, just small wagers. Good weekend already assured.

I'm going with

Chavez at +215
Mora at +475  which to me is way off. I like Mora in this fight.
and Arreola at +400 to +500.

If even one comes through it's a great weekend.

As the fight draws near, I find myself very interested in the Arreola fight tonight. I really think he's in with a shot. Will be fun regardless.
